Pokerstars 10th year celebration

Pokerstars are having a 10th anniversary celebrations and so far they have announced a 10 mill guarenteed Sunday Million and from the looks of the site they have much more to come.

Now the sunday mill with prob be a massive crapshooot but hey I am gonna try satty in, but what is intresting is that they have 8 blank spots with more to come written on them. Looks like it may be an intresting month and a half there. No I dont work for pokerstars lol but maybe we can have some discussion in here about how to maybe get some value out of these upcoming surprises.

Yea saw that. 2 Mill guarenteed for winner. Going to be some top class players in that I would imagine.

Anyone know if Full tilt players are allowed to plat on pokerstars?

I don't mean normal players, I mean as in Dwan, Ivey etc... Those contracted to full tilt, can they play in the 10 mill guarentee. If I remember correcetly they weren't allowed to play in the big game when it was sponsored by pokerstars. I know they reside in the US but obviously they can still play if they are in another country.

Looks like there'll be some really cool promotions. Gotta try satty into that $10m gtd. Sunday Million.

The PCA promotion looks really good too with 10 packages to the PCA main event and $10k in cash up for grabs in each of 10 finals. Gonna try to get a ticket for each of those. Won't bother with the freeroll satelites though. The 10c ones look pretty good with 20 winning a ticket from each. Field sizes look to be 200-300 at off-peak times but there'll be much bigger fields in the others.

I see you have a satellite for $10.00 on the eve of the $10million 10th celebration tournament.

Isn't there going to be more like several times an evening for these same tournaments to be running like you have the $1.00 satty in to the $10.00 satty running every hour of each day which is good but would love the same thing for $11.00 ones too!

I'm sure they will meet many peoples category, I for one would love to have "several" chances of qualifying for $10.00 as opposed to the one massive donkfest the eve of the tournament


As for the tournament itself, I can imagine there will be some good players like a normal Sunday million but I half expect it to have near as many if not more than the last sunday million promotion. Going to have to hit 50k+ entrants, a massive crap shoot but fun all the same.

By the way, I see there are 10k starting stacks and 15minute levels, how come there is no 20minute levels this time around?

I'm going to try to get some more details on satellite info for you, i.e. if/when there will be ticket-added satellites. I can assure you there will be a wide range of ways to play your way into the 10th Anniversary Sunday Million.

Update: There's a 1000 Ticket Guaranteed $11 Turbo scheduled for December 18th. More info to come.

The regular Sunday Million has 15 minute levels as well, and I think given how many players are expected to participate in the 10th Anniversary tournament, this probably isn't going to change. I'm passing on your input on Satellite structures to the Tournaments Team.
