i have won a seat for a 50k game (80$ buyin) on poker888
does anyone know if unregistering will get you the cash value back?
they dont seem to have tourny dollars and id hate to unregister and get nothing
any input would be greatly appreciated

I have no clue. I've only just recently been playing on 888poker & have no idea how they work that stuff. Why not contact support (& let us know what they say).
What do you think of that site? I kinda like it for a small site. MTT structure seems pretty decent.. & some decent guar. MTT's that actually have overlay in them. Also noticed that even after only playing a handful of MTTs on there, you see the same players alot (small player pool).

and so far i have enjoyed the site, small as it is...turned my free 8$ into 50, down to 20 now after a 24$buyin (that was above my bankroll allowability)...but hey...gotta gamble sometimes

I played a few Mondays where they have those $20+2 $10Kguar. tourneys. One of the times I played them there was actually really decent overlay in the 2nd one (I forget offhand but I believe the 1st one had ~500entrants matching the guar. but the 2nd had ~300entrants in it). Thought I was gonna go deep in one of them after popping bubble with a decent stack but then had a KK<JJ situation & was out shortly after.
Hoping they continue running those in the NewYear as I'd like to try giving them a go a few more times (before I'm busto on there, lol).

Drive here was miserable, took close to twice as long as usual, icy out near my way, then lots of snow, fog, rain, snow, ice.... lost a headlight, then lost the wiper fluid pump.. & began having problems with the wiper motor too. Dreading driving home now (yah.. I got a new headlight, lol)).

Awesome blind structure in that toureny! I mean 20min. levels.. how cool is that. 1hr. mark you're only at 25/50. I like it! Getting tempted to join you in it but it's WAY over my bankroll mgmnt.

ticket came from placing top 30 in there holiday game (they have a few more coming i think)

played the game well 1st hour and a half, then my pocked kings encountered pocket aces (no high cards on flop- went for it)
and that was my game
19k 1st place, woulda been nice

enjoy the island, and yes it always rains, hails, sleets, fogs, and occassionally even snows...they say if you dont like the weather, wait 20min. it always
seems to change fast!

Like you Orifice I joined recently. I'm not keen on the SNG's on there as the rake is considerably higher than FT and there's not a great deal on non turbo games. I might take a look at more MTT's although I'm probably playing at lower BI's than you are.

Compared to FT I find the site a bit 'clunky'and the sound when the cards come down is really irritating! On the positive side the play there is definitely softer.
