Poker Stars gave me $5 free

I did get the 10 from Ultimatebet, but that was years ago. I think it was because I had not put money on there for my first year and they wanted to give me a chance to show them what was in my wallet.

Damn I need to download pokerstars. How come fulltilt never does that. Fulltilt needs to give a lil more to the freerollers.

I got $5 from PokerStars about 2 months ago...Basically I just played 2 $2.20 MTT and got unlucky in both..at least it was free money that I lost

The real idea behind this is that the players who can actually build up enough of a bankroll to cash out will generate enough money in rake to offset the original 5$ they gave. In addition, some people will rebuy with real money if they go bust.

I've built my 5$ up to 20$ since I don't want to put any money into it, but I've generated over 30$ in rake for PS. Guess it was a good idea on their part

Members of PokerStars in Germany can register on a forum called Intellipoker, I'm not sure if people from other countries can or not, but they have a poker school that you can take, if you complete this course and the test that follows you are also credited with $5 to your PokerStars account
