| I like the Fifty50 SNGs on Stars. They are a fairly conservative way to steadily build your bankroll. Many people tend to play too tightly in these so it can pay to be somewhat more aggressive. Those who really grow their starting stack are rewarded far more than those who are content to squeak through in 5th place. I think the $3.50 SNGs may be a little too high for a $70 bankroll. Generally, you want to maintain a bankroll of at least 50 buy-ins in order to survive the variance associated with tournament play. If you are going to stick to the Fifty50 format tourneys, though, perhaps you can get by with somewhat less than 50 buy-ins. So with a $70 bankroll, you may want to move down to the $1.50 Fifty50 SNGs. You might also try the $1 45-man and $1.50 90-man knockout SNGs. When you build your bankroll to $110, you can try the Sunday Storm $2.20 Satellites which pay 18% of the field with an entry to the $11 Sunday Storm tournament. You can unregister from the Storm and receive T$ which can be used to buy into any tournament you want. |
