Poker Stars Connection issues So I went to Poker Stars and signed up. Only took 8 trys to get a unique user name . They sent me the email validation code and I am set to play, right? Wrong, of the four choices that I have to open the application (tool bar shortcut, startmenu short cut, desktop short cut, and program list) none of them work. The connecting box come up for about 2 seconds and then closes. Nothing wrong with my connection. Is this a volume issue? Too many people trying to log on at the same time? Any one else come across this Thanks

One - Go to the directory where you installed Pokerstars and try running it from there. i Two - Uninstall followed by a reinstall, then restart computer. I have never had any problems running Pokerstars. I bet your install got corrupted somehow. MavsFan

Thanks, It wouldn't run from the directory. Uninstall file didn't remove all files. Had to reboot and then remove the application and two other files. Downloaded it again. Seems very slow compared to Bodog. Could just be that I have been playing exclusively at Bodog and have grown accustom to its interface Will give it another whirl tomorrow. From my limited experience with Poker Stars, I'd say there are more donkeys than at Bodog. Lost to a gal who went all in on a 4 3o to catch a runner runner straight.
