pokerstars.com sucks

the pokerstars sucks it is very slow and sluggish very bad sounds the over all look is horrible the menu style is retarded ok you get the point i have tryed every online site and full tilt poker still has the fastest and user friendly menus etc

pokerstars runs pretty fast for me.

Yeah thats why i think Full Tilt is the best online poker room.

For speed bodog rules, FullTilt second. I agree about a blah pokerstars table, and sluggish play. but get used to it cause it is where the most action is.

My favorite table is also FullTilt.

ive only used full tilt with deposit/originally started with party poker(play chips) and was disapointed, not to dog party poker pok...but overall i had bad results.
i could never win, it was hilarious

You don't play on websites for "user friendly menus." You play for the quantity/quality of tournament/cash game play, traffic, and other, more important "bread and butter" aspects.

I know I shouldn't have even looked at this thread because I pretty much knew what to expect by the subject... Kinda like seeing a car crash as it happens.

Let me preface what I'm about to say with an I'm not trying to start any crap and have no issue with you. You could be the nicest person in the world for all I know. But what is the purpose of this meaningless post? What makes people post these kind of things? This isn't the first and for sure won't be the last. There has to be a purpose to them.

- I've never found Stars to be slow.

- Stars and FT's lobbies are practically the same design/navigation-wise, they just have different colours and stuff.

- Both Stars and FT's table skins are easily customizable so saying either is better is pretty redundant.

the players arent slow,they're tight,whats wrong with the sounds u only hear the chips and the beep beep of 10 seconds left its cool

Stars and FTP are the best for me. They never disconnect when I am playing and I excel on both sites.

i'm not a huge fan of pokerstars. i actually just realized i used to play there often, then stopped because i found freerolls on ultimatebet and full tilt that i liked much more. i would recommend those for freerolls.

BlackJack isn't rigged - its just a game that is designed to give the dealer a great deal of advantage!

To the op though, for god sake stop player - if you go in with the attitude to make money then you will loose alot of patience required to play - and probably end up being stacked.

i like pokerstars and full tilt althought i like full tilts freerolls. both sites are great!

And I have really never noticed a huge difference in the "ease" of the interface between PS and FT. The sites, as pointed out by Chris, are pretty close to each other - just change colors and put in some silly avatars.

Pokerstars is the largest room on the 'net,they have the most tourneys, cash games, choice of games, at all limits. I can't comment on their freerolls, and frankly could care less. I'll take their sucky service, anyday, anytime.

Sounds like you have suffered to many losses on the site, I love PS.

I play at both and would agree that both interfaces are both easy to use and I've had no issues with speed at either site.

I think my only real gripe with FT is finding tournaments. At PS I can scroll through the window and all of the game names are right there. At FT I have to click on a game to see in the info panel on the side what it is for. So when I go looking for a game and don't have the #, just a date and time, I have to click on every game at that date/time until I find the one I'm looking for. That's mildly irritating.

Otherwise I really can't see one being > than the other, but if you made me pick one, I'd probably go with PS being better.

Love stars, not slow here - at all. Same on FT. Like bodog as well, but the software seems a bit more sluggish. Could be a microsoft compatability thing. Unibet now has rabbit cam option and some other new stuff. Gotten me to go there more the last week.

I'll bet the OPer played at a different site for some time before trying PS and isn't used to the setup. Just because something is unfamiliar doesn't necessarilly mean it sucks.
Pokerstars is the biggest and the best. Navigation is a breeze and the only time it's tough to get into a game is when they're filling up too fast (6 and 9 person SNG's). As far as speed goes, it's never been slow for me and I'm running a dinosaur of a computer.
If you don't like the look of the table, download the cardschat skin.......it looks great.
