Hello, I was thinking of starting a online business trading fake poker chips for real money chips and vise versa. Just wondering if you have any suggestions on how I shall begin. Also, I was wondering if there was any possiblity you would know which sites allow you to transfer fake money and real money to another player. Thankyou in advance.

name is eric but i play on pokerstars and people are constantly trading chips if you may and they just don't like it if you advertise selling or buying the chips but they can transfer both ways (fake and real) but let me know if you are interested in it and i could help you get the word out

Thanks Eric, Part of my website will be trading pokerstars chips but many sites trade pokerstars chips, so I wanted to do more than just pokerstars, some other sites also. However, I'm unable to find any other sites that offer the trasfer of both real and fake money chips like pokerstars does. Let me know if you find any other sites.

P.S. So far Pacific Poker, Paradise Poker and Party Poker DO NOT offer the transfer thing. So far, only Pokerstars does. Thanks for responding and I hope to hear more answers soon. Thanks!

i've heard of this kind of thing
but don't completely understand it
why exchange play money chips for cash?
Does pokerstars offer free money if you accumulate enough play money chips?

The trick is this: You only start with 1k on pokerstars and can reload 3x per hour there. Some people want to get the bankroll started fast and play the 50k tournaments right away so they just buy 1 mill or so, lose it, buy more again. It works on pokerstars because of the transfer funds setup.

I think absolute is the only one that I have seen that will give you real money for fake money, 10 mill or something like that before it works.

I laugh, I use to play at Pokerstars for free to get my feet wet and rolled up to about 3 mill and then gave some away to friends. I just sold 2 mill for $26 so I can play in the CC game there on friday.

Poker Host has SNGs available that you use play money to buy-in, but win real cash. They also allow player-to-player transfers, but I'm not sure if that includes play money or not. I would warn anyone that wants to try them out to air on the side of caution, however, as I have had some dealings with them that were shady at best. Be alert with them, as you don't always get the same answer twice.
