| Poker Rooms - They Aren't All the Same Thought I would do my 3rd post (ony 62 more to go to freeroll ha, ha). I have a background in computer software and systems so online poker rooms and tables are fascinating to me. I have looked at some 70 sites both USA approved and none. There are only about 10 or so distinct software packages and many of the rooms have the same games/tournaments that they share in common with just minor variations. For instance Cake is a Family Poker of rooms I like very much. This family includes Cake, Doyle’s Room, Players Poker and 10 or 12 others. I happen to like Players and Cake the best of this group for Tournaments . Of all the sites I like Bodog Poker the best. I know Cardchat holds some of there tournaments there. I find it to be easily navigated, intuitive to use with good cash games and tournament for all levels. Give it a try and let me know what you think! |
