| Poker rooms open to Kentucky I'm trying to casually play some poker, but finding a populated poker room open to Kentucky is proving difficult. I can't register for any of the merge network. I tried betonline briefly, but the horror stories about them being a scam scare me. Are there any other Kentucky players here that could provide some insight? I guess I could fudge my address and possibly deposit, but I wouldn't be able to withdraw. Thanks, Smot |

| I found a website that says betonline, minted, intertops, and cake are all open to kentucky players. I have successfully register for betonline and minted. I found another website that said the entire cake network is off limits to kentucky but I haven't actually tried to register. I can confirm that the merge network (carbon poker) won't allow you to even register. I haven't deposited yet, but the minted practice chip area seems pretty dead. |

| Just wanted to confirm you can register at Bodog if you live in Kentucky. I probably won't try cake network because when you search "cake poker kentucky" in google there are a lot of returns about Cake blocking KY residents. I hate this state. Old pricks pushing their morals on everybody else. And all the while betting on horses is perfectly legal. |

I'm also from Ky and though I'm able to play on all Networks I always make it a habit to contact the Ky politicians. We need to voice our opinion and the politicians need to hear from us. I know that it's likely not going to do any good, but it doesn't take much time and it's well worth it. Especially in the event that the US does regulate iPoker. We want to make sure that Ky atleast has a shot of joining any regulated market. I always make sure to let the Politicians know that my ability to play poker doesn't affect anything that I would spend on horse betting and in fact I've never bet on horses and that is common with a lot of the Poker Players. They need to know that the state lottery hasn't negatively affected the horse betting industry and iPoker likely won't either, in your opinion. |
