Which Poker Room to use for my $50 From PokerStrategy? Hi there. I'm back after a long hiatus. Tried to log on to my Full Tilt account only to find that the site has been shut down etc... I suppose that's old news now though. Figured it would be a good chance for me to start fresh so I went over and registered with PokerStrategy, wrote their quiz and now have $50 free to re-start a bankroll. I've been burned in the past by signing up to a site because of a bonus or promotion only to discover that a better deal was lurking around the corner. Please help me choose wisely. Here are the platforms that will allow the free $50: Party Poker Poker 770 Bet Fair Everest Poker Titan Poker (I already have a user name on this site) Oh yeah. It's useful to know that I play on a Mac, am in Canada and want to be able to use my PokerTracker software. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

hmm.. good question. Hadn't thought about it. I guess I just consider myself a cardschat guy. When I want to read about online poker this site has always been my default (though I mostly lurk.) I only went over to PokerStrategy because somebody here suggested it as good way to start a bankroll from scratch without playing marathon freeroll sessions. Have I unwittingly committed a faux pas by referencing another strategy site?

re: Which Poker Room to use for my $50 From PokerStrategy? Personally, I would go with Everest Poker... When I lived in England for a little while I took a liking to this site... Good stable software... Great variety of games... Strong site traffic... and payouts withing 48 hours (in my experience) when using direct deposit into your bank. Just my two cents!

Hard to say... what do you plan on playing with the $50? PartyPoker 2nl tables are really soft but I've heard the rake is a bit higher than other sites (also the software sucks & you can only 4-table). I guess that'd be my choice.

Only 4-tabling is not an issue for me. I'm barely comfortable 2-tabling at the moment. I'm very much a casual player and won't ever play the volume that some of you guys manage. I only wanted to make sure that there wasn't an obvious choice for the $50. My goal is to use the seed money to learn how to play at the lowest stakes possible before making my next move.

Try Bodog Since Black Friday i have been on Bodog. Doing ok with the poker but seem to give my profits back to the sports betting you can do with your bankroll

Everest is not a bad choice, there is decent enough traffic at the lower limits and I used PT3 on it without too much trouble. Plus if you're raking enough after a month you can deposit any amount and you get a bonus (up to $600 i think) which is equivalent to about 50% rakeback. Just don't deposit too soon as you only have 1 month to clear the bonus.

re: Which Poker Room to use for my $50 From PokerStrategy? I would check out the cashing requirements at each site. Titan is still pretty good. Everest has a lot of South American players and provides a good venue to get used to their style.
