Poker Question As you may know by my newest introduction. I just started getting online again. One poker site banned me from playing due me not playing! I even have $ their. ugh I don't think that is right or far. So I talked to their live support & emailed them. Live support told me that I was banned but it didn't say why. So I waited for a email of any kind from them. Finally I got a email telling me that my account is back active. But no information on why I was banned!!! Does anyone think this is right or fair? So I started playing again. Played a real $ tourney & I came in 3rd. wooohooo

I've never heard of a poker room banning someone for inactivity. In fact, most poker rooms do the exact opposite and give users who have not been active for a while a free tournament ticket, or $5 in their account to get them 'hooked' again. If that's indeed the case, then no, I don't think that's fair or right. It was probably just a mistake which is why they activated your account so that you could play again.

I'm sure 888 were putting charging inactive players a year or two ago. Read about it on 2+2 - pretty out of line imo. Especially (as bgaricc pointed out) considering sites like Party are chucking money into player reactivation. I hate Party and will still get emails about another $5 that's been put into my account. So no... this wasn't fair.
