Poker offline.
I have yet to play poker other than with my family or online. I don't know if I am good enough to play in the Indian Casino's or in vegas when I go. I usually stick to Blackjack and the occasional video poker. Also they don't have the lower stakes that they have online. I think the lowest is like 2/4 games which is more than I'm used to. Any suggestion's on how to play in a live game at a casino? Limit/No-Limit? Stakes? Bankroll?

Never played properly in a casino to really comment, only in one tournament and that wasn't anything to write home about.
When is it you are heading off to play, hope you give us a report of the trip when you get back. |

When
Well I am playing on going to Las Vegas in August with my family. My brother turns 21 on July 31st so that is why we are going. I might investigate the poker rooms there. I live in Wisconsin and there are a few Indian Casino's around the closest being Potowatomi down in the industrial valley of Milwaukee. I've seen commercials for their poker but I haven't been down there to play yet.

Love poker online and probably play more than most on-line, but there is nothing that can replace the atmosphere and adrenaline rush of a live gave. I am a pretty reserved person but when I got a player to go all-in preflop with KJ against my aces in a no-limit ring game and he hit KJ on the flop with my entire stack in, I was disgusted to say the least, but when my ace came on the river, there was no better feeling in the world and I couldn't help but jump up and yell...la live game just seems to take things up a notch and there is no better feeling then playing a role to get your opponent all-in in a live game, its a tool that does not exist on-line.
