Absolutely. I think Xife makes a good point about the bluffing, too, when you are playing with bad players.

Even though it seems counter-intuitive, you can really only bluff successfully against other decent players, because they are the only ones smart enough to figure the pot odds, and the only ones cool enough to lay a fair hand down.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Unfortionately it would appear that we cant advertise here on cardschat for the time being (as all those other lovely card rooms have the monopoly at the moment!) but that wont hold us back!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you guys would like to set up a regular Cardschat tournament I would be happy to add value to it, let me know what kind of thing you guys would like? ie. tiny buyin (1€), or average to medium 5€ to 20€, how many people you would expect, and Ill let you know what we can do for added money to the tournament.

Anyway, see you on the tables!

cheers,

martin.

I would suggest something in the 3 to 5 Euro range would be enough to keep the freeroll whores away, without also pricing out some of our membership.

Attendance is difficult to predict. Quite a lot of CC members are Americans and therefore excluded. But at least those members who have tried the site all seem favourably impressed. At a wild guess, I`d say we might see 30 to 50 players.

I don`t see a problem with that, but we should get feedback from the other members, and maybe wait to see how the Beta Tourney goes, before making decisions.

How will you confine it to CC members, Martin ? Will you need a list of members in good standing from Nick or one of the mods ? Or will you issue us a password ?

I haven't received my questionaire yet.

I would like to say that I really like the site, I have found a couple of itty bitty glitches which I am sure you know about, the cards were turned around twice, however you could only count the dots halfway up on the card. I missed the game/hand number. Also only once, the cards were mixed up, the hand was over but the table cards stayed and I got 2 new pocket cards. There is a lot of foreign language spoken. I am not always chatty so its not too big of a deal as long as they aren't trying to cheat...... .
I would really love to see you add a hand history.

This is the first site that has has such a variety of games (that I have played on). I am learning new games . I have had a hectic week, but I have managed to play quite a few games, although they can be interupted here.
I will await the questionaire!!!
Cheers
Trish

There is a hand history feature, Trish. You can find it on the menus in the main lobby.

You`re not the only one who hasn`t found it. Maybe this is a pointer to Martin that it needs to be flagged up more clearly.

I would issue you guys a password for it - works best for me - and you can circulate this amongst the members.

I can also put together a cool league tournament system if you guys would be interested?

basically, the world is your oyster, the only limits are your imaginations blah blah blah blah....

it Might be an idea to start a new thread on this one, without the Beta test prefix...

will read all this cr*p later and reply, gonna go find my email now martin.
noticed the tourney thing for cc. I dont mind the 3 to 5 euro buyin, but if you can, also make a 1euro +1 rebuy/add-on tourney, for the new guys and/or skint people.
Martin, can I bring my bird along to play(me and her would run 2 accounts from the same IP address, we would never collude(its not worth it), we would chipdump to each other ONLY in heads-up games, and we would also play stts and mtts, as we do now at our other joint site.)
Can I get her to load up an account yet?

You should have no problem with opening the account, and regarding chip dumping from one account to the other, I wouldnt recommend this, as it is likely to flag the collusion police, you can transfer from account to account, providing I enable it on your accounts.

Email me (at the normal address) your mrs.'s account name and I will open them up for peer to peer transfers.

Re. a smaller Rebuy Tournament, yep we can do this as well, perhaps make that the midweek tournament (check the other thread re. the tournament layouts mate!)

thanks,

martin.

When it takes you to the Cashier page.. Log in and then click the hand history tab in the website...

Or you can go to your instal directory, (Normally c:/program files/B2Bpoker/hand history) Then there are some text files there with your hand histories.
