playing through pain

Not long ago I suffered a dissected aorta. Needless to say, it changed my life completely. I've been pretty much confined to my home except for occasional doctor visits. I am in almost constant pain and have little to no stamina. I've found that normally I can do well early in tournaments but when the pain catches up with me I fade rather quickly. I've changed from normal tourneys to sit&goes, which has helped with my stamina issues quite a bit. I still find myself drawn to CC's freerolls which I know I can't complete, but the allure of playing overides my common sense and I can't resist playing with you people. I enjoy it too much. So if you see me in a game making not so wise decisions later in the tourney, please try to understand I'm not trying to be a DONK, I'm just a sick old man who enjoys competing with you all as long as my health allows and am having a hard time giving up one of the few things I can still enjoy, that being my Cardschat games and the people who play here. Bless you all for your patience.

"Not long ago I suffered a dissected aorta."

Why does this sound like some High School Biology class got a hold of you?

Seriously, take care of yourself. Who cares if you get tired and donk out of a CC freeroll as long as you're enjoying yourself that's all that matters.

Play a more aggressive game.. Either play more hands with small ball or take a page out of supersystem and be real aggressive on draws. use the pain to ur advantage and channel it. any questions on small ball email me.
