Play squeaky tight for the first hour- only premium hands, and play them very aggressively. Spend a lot of the time up to the first break watching the maniacs put one another away.. If you can do that and survive, you'll have less than half the field left to beat.
i have played in two of those tourney's now if and when i win a entrie into it i take the tourney bucks and play smaller touney's seems to work out better and less ..hmm hassle lol gl with yours and cya around .same here as there
I'm playing in the game tomorrow as well, Play tight, chase no gut shot draws or low flushes and play premium hands. Name is MadMike724 on Stars. Good luck
my first post. and maybe my last... what a great sunday that was.
hundret grand after an hour: my JJ vs. TT preflop all in ... of course opponent hits T.
next low-stake tourney after 10 minutes: AA vs. AT preflop all in... opponent hits straight.
cashgame to rebuild my bankroll: second hand: had OESFD ... of course ...
ähm mike... i dont think you should go all in with AQ or AJ. At least you should never call an all in. the chance is huge of being dominated by AK, AA or being huge underdog against QQ, JJ, KK is too big. the best you can get against a relatively good player is a coinflip but your mostly an underdog with AQ or AJ.
I was careless but with the blinds at 200/400 a:50 and I had little over 5k, I needed to get some chips. to work with or get grinded down. Ill post the hand history later
