| Playing a "DONK" heads-up What's up CC....The ? is how would you play some1 who plays like a str8 up Donk during heads-up play? I've been in that situation b4 & recently it has been a chore to find out why they're even playing like that lol. The object of any game is to win correct??? Please tell me how you would play a str8 up Donk heads-up & what ur logic is on why they even would play that way. SITUATION: The guy/gal was playing really loose & just being an outright call station like either they wanted to give chips away or thought i was bluffing EVERYTIME i bet. Chasing bs till the river was done a lot, raising huge w/ just mediocre hands portraying pkt AAs i mean come on they call it "DONK" play for a reason, & that person was being a real jackass player making obvious jackass plays. I read them like a book but just wanted to know what they're thinking.....?????? Any similar situations & how did you handle them??? |

| By a "donk" player you mean a calling station? I don't know why they make you so angry...you just have to adjust your play to accomodate for their 'donkness'. For someone who calls too much, don't bluff them. They say it takes an idiot to try and bluff a calling station. As for someone who bets too much preflop with marginal hands - trap them with big hands! All they're doing is putting an unnecessary amount of chips out there for you to take when you wake up with a hand. |
