Playing on CAKE!!!

Well noit much to say about it i think its by far the worst site for real$$ play.Flopped quads 2 times in 7 min and got beat in the river both times by a str flush(sad huh)well ppl they play worst odds and that bs site pays it off,had alot bad beats on all sites but nonething like i have there.So I guess if ya play there have plenty to lose (unless ur a donkey player lol)u will do fine on cake but for decent players expect the worst my luck there anyway if any1 else plays there let me know how u do there and how i think the site is.

Could have been just a spike in out of the ordinary hands. I remember there was a night on party poker a couple of years back where I saw 2 royal flushes (one mine, another at a different table) and then didn't see one for a very long time since online.

Poker is just quirky like that.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was Beardyian posting about his inspiration and energy source when playing poker - obviously not!

I think cake is ok. I won a dollar at a freeroll and turned it into 5 dolars at ring games. It is way inferior in tourney payouts and schedule, as well as in sngos.

And that is why my $5 is still sitting there, not enough sngos or tourneys. I suck at ring games.

As far as those crazy hands, it had to be a fluke, I'd guess

I've pretty much played on every site besides Cake. Everywhere I look, people are complaining about it. So I'm not even gonna try it. Thanks for your opinions, definitely will save me some time

besides cards shuffling i think cakepoker has an other problem. they really are not interested in costumers problems. they should be more helpful and fast.

im not willing to blame cake for all the things that people find wrong with it. i have won money there, not a lot but some, and i know some people who swear by it. there are many people there who are not pure poker players due to the fact partly that some of cake pokers skins have a sportsbook attached to them. i find this attracts a looser player. i have seen some crazy beats on there, but really not any worse than other site overall. just worse players.

I love Cake I think I'm the only person replying to this post who does but I love it I think the fast pace of their games is what attracts me ... you can get in a tourney and finish within 2 breaks I like that and I like Omaha Hi/Lo which really brings out the fish of the network so I do pretty good with all of the more inexperienced players there.... I rarely have to deposit. I think you should give it another go before you hang up your towel for good. How about you dont deposit but you freeroll a feel for their network and take it from there.
