Players who are unlisted on Pokerstars?

Sometimes I look up players sitting at my cash game tables to see if they are multi-tablers or not. Some of the names just come back as non-existant.

Just wondering if they block their name somehow or if anyone has an explanation.

There is a setting in PokerStars options to "Hide from Player Search" and I know quite a few players use it.

Ya I use the feature alot when I'm deep in a game and don't want to be railed

They even find you when your not in a cc event.

some people don't want to give extra information like 10 tabling at once.

One other possible explanation. First off, if you have some kind of tool, like sharkscope, see if they even exist. If the name comes up, they are hiding, as mentioned. If it does not come up, look at the name VERY carefully. I was doing a search ofr someone in a CC FT tourney. The name was FLlCK_YOLl (cute, huh? ). I thought the 'U' was capital 'L' and capital 'I'. The 'I' was actually a small 'L' or...'l'

ya its just hide from search cause when your a huge fricken donkey you dont want too be found be some pleyers or stalked lol or if yoru horrible some players pray on player like that hence hide from search feature and probably other would be like one guy aid mulitabling many tables the most ive een on pokerstars i 21 tables going at one time ! by 1 player !
