Players Only Pissed Me Off !!

whats up all i am new around here, i signed up a while ago but never really posted, anyway lastnight i was in a tournament on players only and it was 24 people and the top 3 won $7.00 and a ticket to the $75,000 semi final on sunday. the buy in was $2.00 + .20 so i won and got a ticket...but i never got the $7.00 so i called them it was like 4: am and i told them my problem and the guy says to me" oh we are having trouble right now paying winners for tournaments...just give it 30 minutes and it will be in there...so i'm like cool ok i am tired, so went to bed, woke up ...still not in there so i called again and they tell me if you win a sattalite you don't win any money just a ticket....im like WHAT i really can care less about the dam ticket i want my money, plus who the hells gonna buy in a tournament that does not pay you cash ! they never gave me the money so i told them i am cancelling my account, and i know i am right because once there was 10 people left all i did was stare at the payout srtucture ! i mean yea its $7.00 but shit i want my money !, did anyone ever have this problem, and if so did you get to do anything about it , or did you just move on, its hard for me to let things like this go, i played my ass off to win that tourney and all i get is a stupid ass ticket !( i probably got to work anyway)

WOW. Thst not good news. I play at sportsbook.com and its same exact skin. Well looks like I wont play there anymore.

hey royal, i mean i have been there for a while and before i was at sportsbook, i think they are owned by the same company but other then this i NEVER had a problem, the only thing i can say is when i needed to speak with someone they were there....i am an idiot an will most likely still play there just because its convienant and i am some what established as far as fpp's and thier stupid ass gold cards but hey good luck playing and honestly goodluck finding a site where there are NO issues, because i don't think they exsist unfortuntly.....the bottom line is i dont understand why they think i would pay money for a tournament when the 1st place prise isnt even money ! its a ticket that woould cost $25 they give them out in frikin freerolls, oh well maybe i will win that and take down a monster payday !!!

why enter a satellite if you didnt want the ticket? Play a freezeout or rebuy instead. You get the ticket instead of the money because the ticket is the same as a buy in for the next tourny, which is worth more than 7$

switch i realise that but when something tells you 1st thru 3rd wins a ticket + 7.00 (plus...as in additon) then i expect my $7.00 yea the ticket is worth $25 and i know that but if it sayed 1st thru 3rd gets just a ticket then you win JUST a ticket if it says 1st thru 3rd wins a ticket + $7.00 and you dominated the table to win 1st and all you get is a ticket thats when i have a problem....its more principle then anything else, i'm not starving because of the $7.00 but that could of been $70 or even $700 then what would i do ....NOTHING because i live in AMERICA and they are based in GUAM or wherever the heck they are from, freeszouts ? don't know what they are and dont think players only has them, but i learned my lesson...

Freezeouts are just regular tournaments without rebuys, every poker site in the world has them.

i just found out that players only was voted the best new online poker room by bluff magazine (january edition)

well folks all my moaning and complaining got me focused to win the $109 ticket for the $75,000 guarunteed tourney tonight at 7:30 pm...and what do ya know ...I WON MY TICKET...HAHAHAHA SO 1ST PLACE IN THIS TOURNEY IM IN NOW IS $18,000 THERE IS A MAX AT 2000 AND THERE IS ABOUT 750 IN NOW WITH ABOUT 40 MINUTES TILL GAME TIME, so far top 90 pays and 90th place is $188 so i would take that and be very happy but ya know ima really focused and do my thing ...i hear these stories all the time "yea i bought in a tourney for $4.00 and won $10,000 in a sattalite...so i figured its my turn ! wish me luck all....i am so focused right NOW !!!

true...i just got zero cards and had no chance...got dealt pocket q's and got beat by runner runner...it was fun though...i will try again
