Play in the WSOP for $1?

Poker.com is doing a promotion where you can get into a WSOP satellite for $1 and win a seat in the 2006 WSOP in July. Anybody else hear about this?

There are 10 or 20 sites that offer that you can make it to the WSOP from 30 cents to $10. The facts are all the same on 99% of these. You have to win to go and win to go and win.............

By the time you get to the WSOP off of one of these low buy-ins you should be skilled enough to win the whole damn thing.

Congrats on the post count Dennis. I've often wondered just how many hands it would actually come out to if you win all the way from a 1$ buy in.

I just played one of these last night. I figure for a buck, it's worth a look. At my table, four or five players went all in on almost every hand and then did re-buy after re-buy after re-buy. After I was out, I didn't rebuy. It wasn't worth it. Avoid this at all costs unless you like to rebuy and play against all in hungry players.
