| Play Money at Fulltilt Hey Iv gone broke with my bankroll and was wondering if anyone has played for play money on Fulltilt? There is a game for 500.000 play chips but its a $40 freeroll ! Has anybody ever bothered building there play money and do you think its a good way to try and build a bankroll back up? Or am I better to stick to the regular freerolls? Thankyou |

| Freeroll The freeroll is under play money tournaments and runs once a day.I have found that at Omaha h/l is a donkfest but if u wait for good hands you can win 10-30k.I would think that it's easy winning since the tournament only gets around 40 or so players with 18 paid i believe.its running tommorrow at 20:40 Tilt time i.d(110459191) hope it helps. However getting the 500k play chips may pose a problem, once again goodluck. |

Yes its in the play money on the highest price tournaments you can play. Last night I saw it and there was only 55 people with 18th getting $2. Not bad realy ! |

| one strategy to increase your play money is to register for multi table tournies that take awhile to fill ... using all your chips then ask for a 1000 refill and then unregister from tournies or sngs...you can only do this every 15 minutes? not a big help but better to start with 3-4-5000 than 1000 |

But NLHE is not my best game, and really don't enjoy it, so no interest in grinding away at O8 for a million chips just to blow it on a chance at $2 in a game I dislike. lol |

| this is the long route to building up a bankroll form nothing. i just get my hands on as many passwords for private freerolls as i can find, there is a lot of good money in those. its so hard passing all the donks in the play chips scene, if you can do it, extra credit you ye, it takes so much patience and time. i just find the exclusive private freerolls to be the easiest way to build up a BR. |

| re: Play Money at Fulltilt poker Been awhile since I've played in them... they used to get only 30-35 people a night. I noticed it the other day was up near 70ish. I cashed and won it a couple of times back when I was learning the game. Built some of my starter bankroll on them. Still have about 3-4 mil in play chips but I haven't looked at them in a good while |

| Try finding some private freerolls at full tilt. Thats how I ALWAYS build up my bankroll on there without depositing. You can find private freerolls that only get up to a few hundred players. However, the private freerolls usually max out a 900/1800 players. |

Its really easy to get top 18, and win 2$. The structure is really flat, so no point playing to win that one. The times I have played them I just more or less folded everything. Just waiting for those crazy maniacs to knock themselves out. And then, when only the really tight players are left, make an occational blinds steal. I agree with divebitch that omaha h/l is a really easy game to build your playmoney bankroll in. The players at all levels in that game, 3k/6k included, are really weak and clueless. |

First of all, STARTING a play chip BR is not as easy as everyone makes them out to be. It's grueling getting over the 100K hump without following proper BR management. "Well, follow proper BR management" Sure you won't go broke, but let's be honest, you're always going to put 5% of your BR at a PLAY MONEY cash table just to get donked out sooner or later? Then there's the time... It hurts to think about the hours you put in for play chips. Also with the reload option, I doubt many would have the discipline.Bottom line is it's not easy(not hard), but you're going to have to spend a good amount of time in the process. So after you have about 100K, that's when time really doesn't hurt as much because you're going to be making a decent return in chips if you're mass muti-tabling. This is where you're play chip BR starts climbing at a good rate. So now you have a couple million in play chips. What do you do with it? "I'll enter that 500k freeroll!" NO! Here are my top 3 reasons: 1. The pay out structure is horrible. Basically it's first place for like $5 and everyone one else for $3 and $2. 2. Frustrating and time consuming. 3. The buy-in for this tournament is not worth it. The third reason is the most important. With the 500k buy-in, there are better uses for it. I would recommend selling a million play chips for the current market price of about $5. The time and risk of the tournament is not simply worth the 1st place prize of $5. If it was a top percentile most paid structure, it would be a different story, but best thing to do in this situation is sell it to a reputable play chip buying site. The only freeroll you should be playing is the CardsChat freeroll. Everything else is complete trash. Well this is the advice I can offer you. I wish you luck in your endeavors. |

| That is how i got started again after going broke. I have done a couple threads on this tournament. I have built up my play bankroll to 15 mil, and would consistanly play that tourny and built up a 20 dollar bankroll. Then from there i didnt need to play those tournys anymore. |

| Hey. run this by me again. I always assumed that my FT play money was worthless. I squandered a lot of it too, but I still have 850,000 left and I never even play for play money anymore. What's the best thing that I can do with it? Please don't tell me to "shove it ... etc. lol" |
