It's the festive season and party poker has a new promotion called Under the Tree, for free prizes (who doesn't like free?).

On this front I opened my card today and won entry to a $250.00 freeroll - I noticed that there are 2 freerolls tomorrow - one for $250.00 and one for $750.00 - Give it a bash something for nothing.......gl......

I was over there playing a few sng's with some T$'s I had and saw this.
I got a ticket to the $250 freeroll too. Already 2500 people registered so the ticket is worth less than a thin dime. But as with any present it is the thought that counts.

i like more the advent calendar of netpoker, party with the withdrawals fees it's out of the picture!

Is it me or is this site going down??????????????? On Monday after attempting to play the UK 40 seat frenzy qualifier I was logged out by the system!!! So think it could be my wifi I attempted to log back in - No luck with that !! I contacted PP via e-mail and received the standard message of system problems yadda yadda yadda. This has been happening alot at PP lately and I still cannot back to site on Wednesday at 18.30 GMT - 72 hours after I was kicked out - so no luck with the ticket o the $250.00 freeroll, cos I couldn't get in. On a positive note my bankroll there cannot be affected, (I hope!), but I must say their "under the tree" promotion is working well - THATS HOW I FEEL ABOUT THEM AT THE MOMENT !!!

Is it just me or are others experiencing these problems? Sorry if there is a thread about this but I couldn't find it. Gl to you all......

I have also not been able to get in since Wednesday morning and got locked out of the $250 freeroll too so my Christmas ticket is gone. .
I haven't deposited at Party for a few years now and started playing there again because of the Cardschat games but now my confidence in the site warrants that I take a wait and see approach before I deposit.
It was like getting a lump of coal in my Christmas stocking.

Party Poker say their ISP had a Denial of Service attack which they are working together to fix and stop happening again. They currently estimate being back up by 2000-2200 GMT Wednesday.

That's the date a long term reliable service is due to be provided.

They seem to be back now, with tournaments starting from 21:00 GMT.

It´s a nice promo and they really deliver some good prizes
The site was down for a bit,well for a while and they said they are fixing the problem into future attacks
It´s not the first time they where under a DOS attack
Ilike to çpay there and hope to get some good prizes

It's weird how that happens right when they've done an update


The software was working well for me the past couple mos. but now with this update it is all glitchy as fk.
My points aren't updating (but read from PP rep. this issue is supposedly resolved now).
Was in two tournament this a.m.,... it seated me at one but wouldn't seat me at the other (tried logging on & off a bunch of times... didn't make a difference).


I know nothing about what it takes to run an online pokersite (tech wise) but one would think that to even be a decent competitor in the market you'd need to hire on a capable staff so you could provide a decent product. What is the problem with PartyPoker? (or many of the sites for that matter)

Exactly.Too many of them are having too many problems lately.

It is back to working perfectly for me again now!

I really like Party Poker but I have to admit that it is going from bad to worse. Less promotion, low game traffic. Recently the site cut the freeroll sat to Sunday 200K from 8 --> 4 seats (for UK / ireland players), the 2nd round previously offer 50 seats guaranteed, now only 40. Really sad when they try to cut everything. What happened Party?

I won a $750 & $250 freeroll. Played them both this morning... cashed in both for the grand total of $7.10

Doesn't seem to matter how small the prizes ('gifts') are... it still motivates me to play more.

Lets see who wins a cash prize first!

Thinking it was poker bonus, motivated me to play for another hour (lol.. anything for a couple free extra bucks... I just consider a rakeback special).

I go to check on my bonus clearing progress & it still says 0.0% ??
It's a freak'n 'casino' bonus, requiring me to wager $40 in the casino. Umm... ahh... hmm.. No Thanks! (I NEVER play in the casino on any site... just doesn't interest me). Oh well ... it was exciting for an hour there.

I miss Party Poker in the US. They hooked me up twice back in the day. I think they gave me $25 on my b-day one year when I had no bankroll online.

I've won freeroll tickets, $1 cash, $1 bonus, 3 x 5 loyalty points. The excitement every morning is almost too much.

i have received 3*5 loyalty points, $0,20 cash, two tickets for $250 freeroll
