Stick with the main sites and you cant go wrong. Put your money in play with new sites and you can almost expect some sort of BS. Example I played at PetesPokerparlor.com Played freeroll after freeroll and made 250.00 + then one day out of nowhere they made some gay cashout rule saying you needed to play in real money games earning points so they would release freeroll winnings for cashout. Man I was hot and I learned my lesson then and there. Best of luck with everything..

DO NOT PLAY AT ODDSMAKER.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish that I would have done my homework prior to signing up for oddsmaker.com! I will never make that mistake again! I recieved a letter in the mail and from the site for $50 free, all I needed to do was sign up. I did just that and I ended up winning $400 dollars and went to cash it out within the 30 days allowed. However, I needed to get a PIN number and the only way I could do that was to make a deposit and OddsMaker.com would send me the PIN. So i made the deposit and they sent me the pin and I requested my $400 withdrawl. The next day, after placing a bet, I got online to check my account and all of my money was gone. I contatced customer support and they told me that I had broken the "rules" (which were never stated, nor are they on the website) and that my funds had been "reset" When they said "reset", they meant they took them from me. Here is the kicker, they told me it was money that they had given me. But 90% of the money I won came from playing poker and winning it off other players. So not only did they scam me out of the $400, they are also scaming the people who deposit the money on their website. I hope and pray that those individuals who recieve crap from OddsMaker.com rip it up right away. As I can clearly see, they have done this to several people all over and I feel like such an idiot. DO NOT PLAY AT ODDSMAKER.COM!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Oddsmaker is a Futurebet site. You will never ever ever get any money from them.
Futurebet runs a long list of poker rooms that all have a D rating or lower. The number one complaint is no cashouts. They are known for being total scam artists that will do or say anything to get people to deposit more money with them. They creat fake "poker watchdog" sites that pretend to be the online poker communities "consumer reports" but only recommend Futurebet sites despite their horrific history. Read about them below, Futurebet - Not Recommended |

I wanted to post in reply to the post by Nightprowler.
I play at Raiseandfold.com poker room. I have cashed out without delay several occasions and I am not talking about $100 or $200 transactions. I put in a request for $3,000 and I had it in my hands by check in two days which was overnight to me, this took place last week and it was a holiday week at that. Before the fiasco with Neteller for US residents, I cashed out and was paid timely without any issues. Since this person hasn't come back and posted, it sounds as if they have the case of sour grapes with the network and took it out on raiseandfold. When you talk about oddsmaker, I received the $50 offer and heard all the horror stories, and didn't even bother. I don't think I would have anyway because I am happy at where I play. I also have heard wingows is slow paying players and that there has been a back log of requests for funds. I am so grateful not to be playing there either. I am being honest, I play at Stars, Ultimatebet and raiseandfold. These three rooms at least to me are the best. Never any issues at any and depending on what I want to play they have it. Stars and UB for high payout tournaments, and raiseandfold for the bad beat jackpot which is over 300k, and the soft tables. I use my winnings to go play high level tournaments at pokerstars and Ultimatebet. Too bad the poster didn't come back, I am sure he/she is mistaken or there is more to it than meets the eye. |

Oddsmaker
About five weeks ago, I opened an Oddsmaker account using the $50 certificate which they mailed to me. At one point I ran that $50 up to $180. It currently stands at about $150. I have tried several times to withdraw funds, but each time I find that Oddsmaker has "moved the goalpost." The last time I checked, it was necessary to have bet in 200 raked hands. When I was told that my raked hands stood at 64, I played in a ring game and kept meticulous track of the number of hands in which I participated. After adding 136+ to my original 64, I contacted OM to obtain my PIN (required) to initiate withdrawal. I was told that my raked hands now stood at "104." Was originally told by "Support" that funds could be withdrawn after tow weeks of opening the account. Last time I check (two weeks ago) the waiting period was 30 days! In addition, there is a minimum charge of $8 to withdraw funds! The "support" crew is worthless and refuses to put callers through to a supervisor. Under no circumstances should anyone deposit any of their own money into this dishonest site. And if you succumb to one of their "free money" promos, be prepared for endless frustration.

Oddsmaker PokerStars
I have just now made another attempt to withdraw funds from Oddsmaker...and so far this one appears to be going through. I called customer support and this time I was actually given my pin number. I then transferred $108 (anticipating the $8 fee) from my Poker Account into my Cashier's Account. The next step was to request the transfer into my personal bank account (after supplying my routing and checking account number as is customary with bank transfers). No additional deposit was requested by Oddsmaker. At the end of the transaction, I received this message:
"Your withdrawal is being processed. Please note, it may take up to 6 working days for your transfer to be processed." I will keep Cardschat posted on any further developments. |

Oddsmaker PSS
Maybe the fact that I emailed Oddsmaker's marketing division(marketing@oddsmaker.com ) with my complaint two weeks ago did some good. You might want to try it if you've been trying unsuccessfully to withdraw funds from this room.

If you ran across this Oddsmaker thread because you got one of those $50 checks in the mail and you're wondering if it's legit, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH ODDSMAKER. I've deposited (and, more importantly, withdrawn) real money on most of the major sites, so I'm very familiar with how online cardrooms are run. The only problem I've ever run into was a delay (< 2 week) in cashing out. ODDSMAKER IS NOTHING BUT TROUBLE and has the most restrictive cashout rules I've ever seen.
I opened my account with the free $50 and read the fine print on cashing out; 200 raked hands, play for 60 days, $100 minimum cashout amount with a $8 administrative fee (cheapest option available), and a PIN number was required. They didn't give me a PIN number when I opened the account, but after sending several e-mails to Customer Support they finally sent it to me. Shortly after getting the PIN number, I tried logging into the software and got a pop-up message saying "Your account was banned. Please contact management staff." I contacted them and was told the ban was due to a "hardware conflict", which was eventually explained to mean that I had used foul language or advertised on the site. Trust me, I never did either. I asked Customer Support to provide the chat log on which they based the ban because there was absolutely no way I had cursed or promoted other sites, and was told the "Network" had banned me and Oddsmaker didn't have any specifics why they had done so. I asked for an e-mail address or phone number to contact the "Network" and never received a response. I actually got a call from Oddsmaker yesterday. Not to apologize for the ban and reinstate my account, but to offer me a fabulous 10% deposit bonus. I mentioned that it wouldn't do me much good since my account had been banned for no apparent reason, and was told they'd have it fixed within 15 minutes but recommended I open a new account as I couldn't take advantage of this wonderful deposit bonus and the free $50 at the same time. I'm sure if I were stupid enough to do so, they'd say I violated Terms and Conditions by having multiple accounts and freeze my funds. Oh... and 24 hours later, my original account is still banned. In summary, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH ODDSMAKER. It is by far the worst online cardroom I've played on. |

That Oddsmaker withdrawal which I thought had gone through....did not go through. I was told I was still 48 raked hands short. The "60-day" requirement is a new one. Before I opened an account, I was told by one of the OM "support" personnel that there was a TEN day requirement. The first time I tried to make a withdrawal, I was told there was a "30-day." So, now it's 60 days? I agree with ShriekingMonkey...don't put any of your own money in this place. And here's something to keep in
mind: the same company operates both Oddmaker and CENTURY POKER; another one to stay away from. |

I didn't reply back to this thread as I was waiting to see if Night Stalker would reply back. He didn't so I must think he had to mention the wrong room in Raiseandfold. Since my post, I have cashed out again for another $1,200 with them. I don't profess to be good but these tables by far are soft, and the money comes in like clockwork.
It's too bad you guys are getting ripped off by OM, after reading all of this, it doesn't sound like they expected people to win with $50 and now are stuck with a bad promotion. |

Oddsmaker voids player's $800 winnings from free $100 promotion
The player was able to use the book's free $100 promotional offer to win $800 for a total balance of $900. He then placed a parlay bet bringing the account over $1000. Parlay wagers are against the promotion's terms and conditions. Instead of canceling the winning parlay, all wagering activity was erased and the bettor was "reset" to the original $100. Oddsmaker's sister book BetOnUSA is known for marketing free money offers to certain users and finding reasons to avoid paying those who manage to reach the required $1,500 mark. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Terms: Free $100 Specific Terms and Conditions For clients who are eligible for the free $100 promotion you must wager the bonus a minimum of 10 (ten) times, minimum cashout is $1500, maximum cashout is $2000. Anything above $2000 will be forfeited. NO parlays or teasers are allowed, the free $100 CANNOT be used in the poker room (multi player). Customers who have not made a deposit and/or have already received the free $100 promotion (or similar bonus) are not entitled to this bonus. This offer cannot be combined with any deposits. http://www.oddsmaker.com/terms.php#free100 Player: History: Few months ago I've received a letter via regular mail with offer to open an account and get $100 welcome bonus (free - no deposit required). It was too good to miss and I have registered, got the $100 and started betting. I was lucky and made the over $1300 for less than 3 months. The catch: bonus rules said "For clients who are eligible for the free $100 promotion you must wager the bonus a minimum of 10 (ten) times, minimum cashout is $1500, maximum cashout is $2000. Anything above $2000 will be forfeited. NO parlays or teasers are allowed, the free $100 CANNOT be used in the poker room (multi player). Customers who have not made a deposit and/or have already received the free $100 promotion (or similar bonus) are not entitled to this bonus. This offer cannot be combined with any deposits." The problem: I have requested withdrawal of $1000 via bank transfer but this request was declined as the rules say $1500 is the minimum. However, they also cleared my account down to $100 because one of the bets placed these 3 months was a combo? So they took all my winnings just because of one combo bet which was placed when i already had about $900 in profit. Have you ever heard of this before? I would accept to void the winnings from this combo bet or even to void all bets placed after that but they noticed my account was on a big profit and voided all bets since it was opened. I am almost sure they will ignore any attempt to contact them but I will be very grateful if you help me. |

I, too, received an offer from Oddsmaker to play poker on that site. I downloaded the software, entered my bonus code and they did, indeed, put $50 into my account.
Reading the fine print, I saw that I had to play 200 raked hands, wait at least 30 days, could not withdraw less than $50 (note that one must win or at least stay even to qualify to withdraw), and had to pay a minimum fee of $8 (other options were more onerous). Playing at $1-$2 limits, I ran my balance up to $103 or $104, but in a couple of bad sessions, went back down to $39. Then, when I got it back to $50 and some change, I requested the withdrawal of $42 (allowing them to charge the $8 fee). It took approximately a week, but I did get the $42. This (Oddsmaker) is not a particularly good site, with few players and tables (except during the freerolls). They are not responsive to helpful suggestions (such as indicating which players are sitting out). All in all, I would not recommend it. But, I did get $42 from them for "free." I tend to avoid gimmicks to get me to sign up. They ain't giving you something for nothing for a reason. I hate jumping through hoops in order to fulfill requirements. Just like those 'rebates' offered on products. JUST GIVE ME THE LOWER PRICE IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Thanks for the heads-up on this shadey organizations. |

Ok. Signed up for the oddsmaker.com promo, free $200. I have followed all the rules and only bet on straight up sports and casino. In one day have taken $200 to $2,000 and have a $800 bet on WV -1 tonight, so if they win by one will be at the $3,500 mark. This is well within their limit of only winning $2,000 on any single sports game bet. I have also played well over their 15X requirement, so lets hope WV wins by 2 and I have a chance for the impossible payout. Will keep you posted.

I recieved a letter in the mail that Odds maker will match your first deposit up to $200. I deposted $200 dollars and $200 was put into my account by Odds Marker. I placed several bets during the NCAA tournament with the $400 dollars. I won my parlays which was a total of about $1,400 in winnings and I wanted to cash out. I called Odds Maker and was told my bets were illegal and they reset my account back to $200 dollars because I wasnt supossed to parlay bets with the $200 dollars for free play money. I asked what about the bets I made with the $200 I deposited and won. I was told sorry there isnt anything we can do for you since the money was used with the free play money. I demanded my $200 back I deposited and oddsmaker had the nerve to tell me since my bets were illegal they didnt count as a wager and if I wanted my money back I would have to place another wager and if I won then I could cash out then. The operator then said sorry all your winnings are forefited and I was hung up on. Also my account was cancelled and I never saw the $200 they stole for my visa account. At this point my only recourse was to contact visa which I did and filed a complant when Oddsmarker.com was notified of the complaint I was sent the following email from Tony Massina this email is nicely put compared to the vociemail he left me making sereval threats.
If you follow through with your threat to illegally and fraudulently dispute and charge back the legitimate credit card deposits you made on our site, we will have no option but to have our legal department and credit department take any and all necessary action against you and may effect your name and your credit. You also risk facing criminal charges of fraud and theft as well as having your name blacklisted in the gaming industry. All computer IP addresses, chats, phone conversations and emails as well as proof of promotions sent in the mail will be used as proof! I suggest you email or call me to let me know that you will NOT be disputing any charges. If I do not hear from you I will know how to proceed! Edit: You did read where they said his bets werent valid, even though he used his own money (for at least half the bets), they took ALL of the winnings away. Then on top of it, they closed his account and took the 200 he deposited. At the very least, even if they were not going to give him credit for the winnings, he should had gotten his 200 dollars back. I surely would reverse the charges.
