i just competed in a 3 week contest at oddsmaker. called tour de poker. what a joke. what it really was about was a cotest for the high rollers. and i define highrollers by 1-3 pl or nl hold'em or omaha players. for every 1000 points you accumulated you received 500 tourney chips for the 20000 freeroll. and these games were very well protected by the regular players that played these games every day. if an intruder tried to play they would sit out until the intruder left the game. really. i have recently become very cautious about internet gaming. ever since party poker left the scene. i qualified for this freeroll but i only have 1500 in chips even though i played 12-14 hours per day for 3 weeks. i will be starting in 47th place. 18 people will be starting with over 10000. i know i have no chance. play at merge at your own peril. you have been warned.
