hey geordie,join stanley casino near central station they have a poker room and host tourneys 3 or 4 times a week.buy ins vary from ten or twenty quid upwards depending on the day.i am from south shields but work all over the country so dont get up there very often.

I went to Uni in Newcastle if that counts, and I still pop up there occasionally to visit old friends. Living in Birmingham now though.

Did you get hit by the twister?

Luckily not, it traveled in an arc and our house was right in the middle of that arc (i.e. if the twister had travelled in a straight line it would have hit us, but it didn't).

The place my dad works got hit though, just some minor roof damage to the building and a few small dents from debris on his car though.
