| this is what I see from the letter I got from them Valued SpadeClub Members, Card Player Media is teaming up with the ZEN Entertainment Network™ to provide a better poker experience to all our members. SpadeClub has ceased operations, and now your poker experience will be provided by the ZEN Entertainment Network. Going forward, all SpadeClub members are being offered a chance to participate in the transition to the ZEN Entertainment Network. ZEN's VIP program will honor all time already purchased by SpadeClub members. Basic members can continue to play for free as well. ZEN offers $100,000 in cash and prizes every month and has state of the art community features. ZEN is a terrific alternative now that SpadeClub is ceasing operations. Here are just a few of the great benefits to ZEN's poker product:
All you need to do now is login to SpadeClub, and you will be transitioned to the ZEN Network. You will also have the opportunity to cash out any available balances in your SpadeClub account for the next 30 days. We would like to thank you for your loyalty and participation within the SpadeClub community. Good luck and enjoy the ZEN Entertainment Network. Sincerely, The SpadeClub Team |

| I been a Spadeclub member since their beta testing in December 2007 and made a couple thousand bucks. I'm sad to see it end, but I saw it coming as they kept slashing their mega monthly tourney from the original once a month 40k tourney to 30k and I don't even remember what has been lately maybe 15k. Then slashing their weekly 5k to 2k on satur and 2k on sun turned all their tourneys into donkaments. You all know I play a ton of online poker and I even forgot to get my red token in time to play the mega monthly last week. The rake sites like tilt and pokerstars are where the money is at and Spadeclub got lost in the shuffle (pun intended). I played on Spadeclub, FleetStreetGames, Zosoz, and PowerPokerClub. Every time they ceased operations I had trouble getting money I won. FSG finally closed out their accounts and deposited it on pokerstars, which I loved because I never deposited on pokerstars and that got me a comfortable bankroll of a couple hundred bucks that I have turned into a few k. Zosoz was a frickin disaster as my 2k check bounced and then weeks later I finally got a good enough check that the bank accepted. PowerPokerClub closed January 31, 2010 and promised to pay out the cashouts within 90days. Some players got their moneys while I'm in the boat of still waiting lol. 500 bucks worth lost from PPC and I know one player who won 20k! Who knows what order they processed the payouts in, but that blows to not get 500 let alone 20k. I hope Spadeclub cashes me out. Shulman's had a record poker year in the WSOP's winning millions and they probably won't even pay their members their piddly couple hundred bux each or whatever. I don't know what ZEN is, but 2plus2 donks say its awful. |

I think the only other membership sites left besides NLOP is WPTClub, and who knows how long they will last. |

| Spadeclub paid me all the time and all I really had left on the balance was 8 bucks. I still got my check after they shut it down. lol Was getting ready to re-join again because I had 4 red tokens and to my surprise they shut down. Yep, the NLOP site is a donkey fest but I did manage to finally make first place and win $25, so let's see if they payout. I am so bummed that spadeclub is gone. I loved their software. |
