No More New Merge Rakeback Accounts After June 1st

I just got an email from DragTheBar saying that the Merge Network won't be signing up any new users with rakeback after June 1st, so if you were on the fence about starting there, now might be the time to hop on the bus because if you wait, you might end up getting screwed out of rakeback.

I just got the same message and was going to start a thread about it, but you beat me to it. Any idea why they would do this? Are they maybe going to make their bonuses better?

Theres a post about this somewhere but I think its just in the main carbon thread so good to make a topic so everyone knows, but yeah definitely get in now if you wan't the rakeback cause everyone who already has it come June 1st is getting grandfathered in.

Point of clarification--does this mean you have to not only sign up for one of the merge skins, but also deposit before June 1st to qualify for rakeback?

Another point--is it true that even if you have signed up for and also deposited to several Merge skins, you can only get rakeback from one?

That is what I got out of it, so I'm pretty sure, because you have to use the deposit code to get the rakeback fixed to your account and the only place to put the code in is when you deposit.

I have RB on both Lock and BCP... and they are both Merge.

Wait, so if I've been approved fro rakeback on carbon since mid last year, but never have deposited, will I still get my 30% rakeback if I ever play?

I would ask in the Carbon thread. I have really only put what I know from the email I received and it catches people's attention more than the huge Carbon thread to let them know to act. I am guessing you wll have to deposit, but I don't work for Carbon, so who knows

i signed up with carbon before cc and received rb just last month after sending a pm to the carbon rep in the carbon thread and have never made a deposit

I got rb on June 2nd but it seemed lower that it should have been for how much I played. I'll see what it does for today/tommorow as I put in a ton of volume today if its not over 10 dollars in rakeback I'll know its at the very least changed. Anyone else have anything to report on this?
