| New Waters. Some of you may remember my poker story so far, from a thread I made upon joining you here. For those who don't, I have been grinding the small stake SnGs and the odd MTT solely on Aced. Starting with a FR cash, I had accumulated approximately $250, at the time of signing up with CC. Since then, with the help and advice of you guys, I have managed to continue to increase my roll, which currently stands at $440. I have come to the conclusion that it is time for me to move on to a larger pond in order to boost my profitability. The site seems to be the favourite here, and a friend of mine recommends it also, so I have decided that Fulltilt will be my next hunting ground! I would like your opinions on a couple of things I need to take into account before making the switch. I WAS going to make use of the Refer-a-Friend promotion until I realised that I would not be able to get a rakeback deal if I did. I am still not %100 on the concept of rakeback, but I am right in thinking that this should be my priority on signing up with Fulltilt, right? Could someone shed some light on the rakeback situation? Will it affect other promotions at FT? What about my deposit bonus? This leads me to another question. What is a realistic deposit bonus to target, bearing in mind I am a small stake player. How much should I transfer from my Aced account? I was thinking somewhere in the region of $300.. If I have missed any other important things i should consider, please fill me in! |

| I would say to move over a max of 200. That way you still have around the 250 on Aced and are still rolled for the same games you had already been playing there. You seem to be doing good there why switch sites? For Full Tilt rakeback is definitely the most important thing. its a necessity, no bonus will ever be worth as much as rakeback over time. Im pretty sure 27% is the only amount you'll find but the different rakeback providers all have different promos, freerolls, etc so its best to research those to find one that will suit you. I believe you can still receive at least a first deposit bonus even when signing up for rakeback. *Don't make an account there until you choose a rakeback provider and sign up through them. |

27% is the max you'll get for FT RB anywhere, although as suit2 said many affiliates pad the offer with their own perks bonuses and promos. First deposit bonus is standard AFAIK, rakeback or not, just be aware like any bonus (except for Ironman mid/end year) it will be deducted from MGR so your RB will be docked accordingly. |
