New PokerStars tournaments - 8 person table

Played in a new PS tournament last night

$4.40 NLHE 8 players per table
1000 player cap, $2K GTD, 104 places paid with 1K players
T$3000 to start, blinds start at 10/20, raise every 10 minutes

This tournament played for 7 hours. I liked the deeper stacks and the blind levels seemed to be a bit longer to me also.

They also have this sort of tournament but with 4 player tables. I played in one the other night and really liked it. There was a lot of aggression going around so it was great when you flop a great hand and have someone trying to push you off it because they think that with 4 players at the table there is no way anyone could make a good hand...

I haven't tried it yet but I have noticed pokerstars running a few new tournaments and structures... I'll probably try one of these soon....

yeah i noticed these too but dont have enough cash on pokerstars to play...
and the 4man max looked intresting too :P

hmm, looks like the next phase in the stars/tilt war to get more of the booming poker population.

imma give these a try though, looks interesting.
