New name on fulltilt

Is there anyway what so ever of changing your name or making a new account on fulltilt? What if I email them and say I no longer want to play poker then make a new account in a few weeks or so?

Thanx for replies

Errrr why would you want a new account ?

If its for a fresh bonus or rakeback account, or your previous account was banned, then they will not help.

Maybe he signed up when he was drunk and started as "TheUltimatePoopHead" or something. I think I'd wanna change too.

Full Tilt will NOT let you change your Screenname.

They feel that to change your screenname is unfair to those that have played you, have notes on you etc.
Plus they dont want to give another $600 matching bonus for new depositers.

If you try to get around this rule, they will catch you
and delete the "new" account .

The only way around this rule, is to have a totally different identity.
Different name, address, credit card, email, IP address , EVERYTHING.

And after all that you cant tell ANYONE about it either,
cause if one person rats you out , Full Tilt will sieze ALL your accounts.

sorry but thats how it is

You cannot change your name, if you create another account you will most likely run into issues when you try to cash out if not before.

I don't think he meant anything personal, it was a joke.
If he wanted to offend you I think he would have used something other than poophead.

Yea I don't think he meant anything personal either, I wouldn't take "poophead" as an insult unless I was 5 or something. I don't FTP allows you to change your name, I tried it before and got denied. Well GL and TC.

I have changed my SN on tilt. I emailed them and asked them if they could change it for me. it took like ten minutes. they were super cool about it. my old SN was my real name and I changed it to chiefer77. I don't know why people are saying that you can't, because i am proof that you can.

Because when you explained it was your real name that made it an extenuating circumstance. there are exceptions to every rule and you met that.
I bet if you ask now your answer will be no, but op said the rakeback was a factor, you will not get that by changing a name. It would be creating another account.

Just so we're clear, is there a way of adding a new account that would allow a rakeback if an original registration didn't allow for one? Can a spouse register using the same address and IP address, or is that a no-no as well?

A spouse can register but if it is not really a spouse you are walking a fine line.

Changing your SN because you signed up using your real name, is one of the few reasons FT count as legitimate.

So if your SN is not your real name, then you have little chance of getting it changed.

That said, email them and ask.

re: New name on fulltilt poker

Also if RB is your reason for the name change then it will not help.

If your account is linked to an affilliate then a SN change will not help, it will still be linked to the affilliate you signed up with.

If you dod not sign up with an affillliate then you can get RB by emailing FT and asking to transfer to their RB program; if you signed up with an affilliate this is not possible.

Rather than berating a long-standing member who is politely trying to help, why not just shut up about it and email Full Tilt and ask them if you don't believe her or anyone else.

So i'm with a couple of rakeback sites, but the problem is i've been online poker playing under this name for like 7-8 years and never knew of the rakeback deals back then. I have no way of setting up my accounts now to recieve rakebacks??? I knew there was a reason i wasnt getting any rakeback... anyone know how to get this done?? I didnt even ever get the 600 match cause it didnt exsist when i signed up like 8 yrs ago... what do i do to get some extra bang out of my long time poker playing azz?? any help?

Who here hasn't posted a valid response?

Please quote it as I have read the entire thread and cannot see one.

Ultimately the decision is down to FT and not us here at CC.

However it is common knowledge that FT do not often allow SN changes. One of the reasons they do allow is if you registered with your real name.

A change of name will not entitle you to RB (you cited this as a possible reason for your name change).

If you just want RB contact FT directly so long as you did not sign up via an affilliate.

So to reiterate, who is not helping? please quote them in your next post.

For someone with 23 post,I would think you would do more listening and less anger towards people trying to help!

Just My opinion!

re: New name on fulltilt poker

You can't change your name on Full Tilt unless you start a new account.
Just stick with the name you have, why change it. I'm on Full Tilt also...whats your name on there?
