New Game at PokerStars

PokerStars now has 8-Game. Six player ring game, $1/$2, $2/$4, $4/$8, and $8/$16.

2-7 Triple Draw
Limit Holdem
Limit Omaha H/L
Limit Razz
Limit Stud
Limit Stud H/L
No-Limit Holdem
Pot-Limit Omaha High

6 hands of each game are played in rotation.

I have not tried it yet but it is probably the best test of all around skill since it incorporates draw poker and no limit/pot limit games. I have watched some of the tables from the rail and there seems to be a learning curve that a solid player can take advantage of. This is a good direction for new games and it might bring some no limit players into the mixed game arena who lose as they learn.

Badugi rings are coming soon, also.

This is a fairly interesting concept.....Something to remember...when you switch from say Razz to Stud..and from stud to stud H/L when YOU'RE paying attention....A couple people from your table won't be. Yanno..the ones who are playing 8-game AND posting on CC at the same time...You can at times use this to your advantage.....

Thriving on new games, I signed up to one of these 18-man games as soon as I saw them. Finished in 1st place, so I hope to be playing more of them. I really like the format. It makes a nice change of pace from HORSE.
