New BR

Well, I've got some free time for a bit so, i decided to start another BR on Titan. I'm playing some decent poker right now.

Haven't played a whole lot but am doing pretty well right now.

Initial BR: $40

Tournaments:

$1+.20 (6player) - 1st <> +3.00
$1+.20 (6player) - 1st <> +3.00
$2+.40 (20player) - 4th <> +2.40
$2+.40 (20player) - 20th <> -2.40
==========================
Profit/Loss: +6.00

The last tourney was screwed.. i just got out of it.. so i'm steaming a bit. Blinds 10/20 I get dealt pocket Kings and raise to 100 in middle position. BB thinks about if for a bit and reraises to 400 or so, i reraised all in. He turns up pocket 7s. Board pairs and he catches a 7 on the river for a full house.

Ring Games:
0.01/0.02 NL <> +4.47

Playing pretty well. Well here's the HH.

Well quick update.. up another $3.06 in ring games. And another $1.20 in SnG's. Got 3rd in one and 6th in another.. pays to 5

So i'm up to $54.73 now. +14.73

The $1 SnG's are okay... i've quit playing them. was just passing the time until i built up my BR to play the $2+.40 20-player ones. I like MTTs better.. as i'm not extremely good heads-up. But, I one two of them in a row.. so that tells ya they're pretty soft

Another very quick update. I have played some more SnG's and a little bit at the .01/.02 NL tables. So far my finishes in the 6-player $1+.20 SnG's have gone like this.

1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd -> up $13.20 on these

Haven't been so hot on the 20 player $2+.40 I don't think I've cashed in my last 3. But regardless my BR is sitting around $58.00 right now. I'm gonna keep hammering the single-table SnG's. Seems to be where I'm playing the best right now.

re: New BR poker

Well I haven't had much time to play as we haven't gotten internet at our new place yet.. (saturday). But I went to the 'rents house on sunday and played a couple SnG's and busted out of both of them. One was a $2 and the other was a $1. I was playing really TAG, and got the chiplead on both tables. Then I ran up against pocket Aces with my pocket Jacks, and busted out soon after. I was looking good on the $2 table, until my AQ got busted by K9 or something, then my KT got busted by a 79o. Was one of those times where as the big stack I had opportunities to take out opponents, had the best of it.. and got unlucky. So my BR dipped down to $55, oh well. I'm probably on break for a bit. No internet until Saturday, and I leave for Korea next thursday. We'll see.

Seeing how you do well at the 6 seaters, have you thought about playing the $2 Dirty Dozen SnGs? 12 people, 2 tables of 6.
