Oh yeah, and let's not forget UB Donks who prefer the better all-in cards like 3-6 off. Hmmmm, seems like every site has more than it's share donks. Just entre a freeroll and for almost the first 30 minutes or so it is an all out donkfest. So just sit back, bait the hook and snag the unsuspecting fish when the opportunity presents itself. And by the way, live in-person tournaments have almost as many donks as an online freeroll, the only difference is these people actually paid hard cash for the privledge. Hope you have better luck next time and remember it takes a whole lotta patience to make the final table and into first place. Cheers!

re: Never Play On Pokerstars.. Full Tilt and Pokerstars have the biggest traffic, and I feel that the bigger the site, the more donks percentage wise. They just get attracted there mainly because they are more well known. However, the problem is mostly when you play tournaments, MTTs and sngs. You simply gotta dodge all of the suckouts, and when one hits you, you get put on tilt. I think if you got a small bankroll, don't play sngs, just play cash games. In cash games, you're rewarded per good play you make. In sngs, you are only rewarded when you dodge all the potential suckouts. You might be a 70% favorite, but winning those two situations already puts you below 49% to win them both, and if you're short stacked both times on a push, that's slightly favors you losing the whole tourney. I've played for a few years, and it still gets to me, but I'm still learning to keep my cool.

Suck outs are a part of Poker Suckouts are a part of poker. It happens all the time. I use to get bent out of shape over a bad suck out. But, finally realized that it happens all the time. So, now take it in strive. You just got to take your lumps and move on. Good luck, mange

I guess we all have our preferences but find Pokerstars has less donks than other sites overall quality of play is much better. Wherever you go freerolls are are going to attract them. The sad part is that many of these players don't seem to learn. I have made notes on certain players and months later see no improvement in their play. I guess they are either completely dense or have no respect for other players or the game in general.

Donks are everywhere. Suckouts occur on every site. Suckouts just dont seem as popular in live games because you just dont see the number of hands that you do online. TV just shows the good hands and when they do show the sucklouts that win, that makes every Tom, Dick, and Harry think they can take down the big pots with 7-2 os. The donks also occur at every level of play online. The freerolls really attract them, they go all in with anything the first few hands hoping to double, triple or quadruple up. But where are thes players after the first break, 90% of them are sitting on the rail, because they didnt see the FOLD button to click. Play solid poker, have patience, and stay out of the All in situation until you are at the River and know you are not beat. Back to the part of seeing them at all levels, I've watched some $26 MTT tourneys online, and have seen 20 people hit the rail after the first hand.

I have found over the last four years of playing online it doesn't matter. The donks are everywhere. Small buyins , sit-n-go's ,freerolls makes no difference. The biggest thing I have learned is the patience it takes and the control of yourself not to tilt when you are in the position of playing at the same table. Yes some does make it to the final table and win but I don't believe their stats would stand up very well.

Donks Yep I just recently lost a good part of my bankroll there due to donkey nation but that's the game of poker everywhere there are donks PS just has more people playing. My advice I wish I would have taken it you start losing money at a table and go on tilt like I did leave the table or just take a break before you lose 250 dollars or so like I did.

re: Never Play On Pokerstars.. Guessing that you are on the way to become top poker players, and making tons of money on high stake online poker.!!! Realistically, most of us ( 95%???) ( with modest income ) playing online would aim at winning in micro or low limit, where there are lots of novices and donks. Playing micro limits requires particular thinking process and strategy. Playing against pros in high stakes needs completely different approach.
