| Need to get my $. Suggestions? Okay let me explain this situation a little bit better b/c I am in definite need of some help from you guys. After the school year is over (can't end soon enough) I am looking to play off and on this summer, but am going to start over again because I have taken such a long break I feel that it will help. So I withdraw most of my money from Pokerstars, no problem. However, when I tried to withdraw most of my funds from Full Tilt - over $450 so a lot of money for me - they said that they had found I was a multiple account user and shut my account down. I was, at one time, this very thing. First, let me say that I had two accounts back in '07 on Full Tilt, but I never played for real money with one of them. It was in November that I decided I needed a break and told them to shut down both of my accounts. I explained to them that when I had originally created the other account I was unaware of the rule (yes I know, I'm an idiot for thinking that) and just needed some time away from the game. I created the account some of you know me by, "bplem", in the summer of '08. Since my (re)start with Full tilt, I have NEVER made multiple accounts, and have completely played by every rule there is. So as you can see I'm completely lost on everything and have no clue how to act/talk to their support.... If I permanently delete my accounts... and then 8 months later create one new account am I doing anything wrong? Any suggestions on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated, but I can't help but think I have somehow flushed 450+ down the drain |

| try reading my posting regarding the same and see if you can pick up any help. But for me it's been almost 5 months and $700 but similar situation.....they shut it as soon as i try to make my first withdraw even though i'm probably about - $1500 overall in FT (that's if they even give me my last $700)..... They still won't give it to me.... well, i wouldn't say they won't give it to me, but they just keep ignoring any of my e-mails..... you could try calling them....which someone has given me their number!!! (thought finally i could talk to somebody) but nope.....only deposit issues....anything else....write them an e-mail) |

| re: Need to get my $. Suggestions? poker When you write to them just tell them you were stupid to not read the rules when opening these accts. and for the love of all that is good be sincere and not arrogant a lot of people who have the same issue as yours post some nasty shit they send to FT and of course that definitely ain't gonna work, tell them it was your mistake for not reading the rules and ask to kindly open your money acct. I don't know this is just off the top of my head, but I think taking the humble approach to start is your best shot at getting it back. Good luck Lem with this, hope it turns out in your favor. btw have you ever transferred funds between these 2 accts? for like safe keeping LOL |

| I have a feeling you can kiss the $$'s goodbye, but you should still be able to use your original account. Which one was opened first? I think the rule is that your entitled to any cash you had in there BEFORE the 2nd account was opened, but after that you have officially broken the rules and (even though one of your accounts was for play-money) they will class it as attempting to defraud Full Tilt. I know its a shitty rule but they dont like to part with their (YOUR!) cash once they've got it, and this is one clause they use to keep a tight hold. I would suggest a nice e.mail explaining your lack of knowledge and understanding of the multi-account rule until they informed you of it, and ask if there is a halfway point they'd agree to, say $200 account credit? Ask them to check your tourney history to prove there was no activity between the accounts, (i.e. registering both i.d's in a freeroll tourney for double the chance of cashing), and try to get them to admit there was nothing underhand about your accounts, just a simple error on your part. I really dont know what else to suggest. I do wish you the best of luck with it though. Every time i've had a prob on Tilt though, I get a generic e.mail back that looks like its been computer generated, I wouldn't be in the least surprised if there are no actual people working at Tilt support! lol. |

| Yea I agree Jamile, being nice is probably the best option. I did receive an e-mail from them today that made me feel optimistic, but it is going to be a rather long-winded process I feel. Just to clarify, I had two accounts, one of which was only play money, but had them both deleted when I quit poker for a while.. Also, so this doesn't happen to anyone here just make sure that you ask to have your old "deleted" account re-opened instead of just creating a new one, because that is my situation. Hopefully it all works out for the better.. |

Whatever you do while exchanging e-mail with them, do NOT get upset with them or out of line. They don't have to give you anything in this case, so being polite, cooperative, and honest as you can be with them is all you can do to hope for a reasonable outcome. In the end though, you'll just have to accept whatever they decide. |

I accept the fact that what i did was wrong, but when I created bplem I stand/will continue to stand that I had no idea both of my old accounts were not permanently gone. In the end, stupidity cost me here... Hopefully i can get the money but if nothing else, this should at least serve as a guideline on what NOT to do for others |

| Now the one positive thing you may have on your side is that based on what you've told us this whole thing was pretty much an innocent mistake, not something done with malice in mind. So if they investigate (like they usually do), then they will see the dates of account creation, when each was used or last used, that they never played at the same time or in the same games, etc. It should be pretty obvious to them that your violations were nothing more than simply having three different accounts. And once they see that, then maybe they will be reasonable with you. In the long run they aren't looking to screw over the honest players that made a mistake like you did; they are looking to stop the scam artists and cheaters. So it's possible to still have a postive outcome here. Let us know what happens. |

| Isn't this sort of what divebitch went through? I believe in the end they ended up leaving the first account open and closed all of the other accounts. I think they also transfered all of her money from the other accounts to that first account. *shrug* It sounded like it took her a few weeks, but eventually if you keep bugging support they will get back to you and work it out. Maybe she will see this and have something to add? |

Here in Lemly's case, he has three accounts that he created and thought two were closed. Then when he went to withdraw money, Full Tilt found the multiple accounts and things got a bit hairy. So with Dive it was proactively plugging the dam before it burst, but here is has already burst and Lemly's trying to pick up the pieces. |

| Wow. Well I am pleased to say that after quite a few e-mail conversations with Full Tilt, I will be receiving a check in the mail for my entire balance. I can't really say thanks to them or those who posted on here enough, because the advice was perfect. To anyone who has to deal with support in the future, best advice possible is to just be as nice as you can. It will show |

At any rate, they ended shutting down all of my accounts, paying me the money, and saying that if you are addicted, fulltilt will not let you have an account with them.... so currently I have no full tilt account at all Thats another thing to work out for the future i guess |
