It's certainly a long way, but it's far from a waste of time. I love playing the 180 person SnGs for FT points. Sure, they fill up in less than 5 seconds most of the time, but they're GREAT practice for final table play. Beyond reading and participating here, I believe that the 180 seat SnGs have improved my game significantly. I'll have to check out these heads-up challenges. That is certainly one part of my game I need lots of work on (mostly because I don't get down to heads-up play nearly enough ).

That being said, CONGRATULATIONS, Scooter, good luck in Round 2!

I also play poker after dark 180 SNG at tilt for the 100FTP but not for round two or so.
I tried also the 256 nbc sng for practise but u cant unregiser from stage two for the points ...
u can try 6 player SNG 2+0.25 at full tilt u get alot of headsup for the money so its even better.....

p.s
CONGRATULATIONS, Scooter

i made it heads up and was crushing the other guy something bad
I had like a 4:1 chiplead and asked the other guy if he was able to make round 2, he said yes, I couldnt play it, so I just timed out and let him take it

dumb I know, but it was kinda pointless to take the win and not use it.

re: nbc at full tilt poker

poker after dark is new this week in fact. Phil Hellmuth is getting needled by someone he never heard of called Tory Friedman or something like that. Its the regular 6 player tournament structure. There is a new opening with Doyle apparently bluffing Ferguson and Leann Tweeden is still the host.

Yea the nbc challenge takes to long. Don't like it when you get stuck waiting for two players who have set their setting to auto fold. you have to wait until the blinds hit 800 to 900 before they are out..

Never a waste of time if you are using a certain game, to improve a certain part of your game. Really no loss if you dont win, since you risk nothibg but time. Somebody has to win so the "why not me" mentality works well.
