| Are my rakeback calculations right??? Ok I am just trying to work out how much money I can make from rakeback alone at the busiest times at the weekend. Can someone please tell me if these are correct figures? 5nl, Average pot at absolute peak times: $0.90 Average hands/ hour 4 tabling: ~1000 So rake is 6.666% So for every hand on average my rake is $0.90*0.0666 = 6c So my rake for 9 hands is 54c So my rakeback for 9 hands is 27% of 54c = 14.5c And I pay 7c/9 hands on blinds, so I'm making 7.5c/9 hands??? = $8.33/1000 hands What am I doing wrong because this can't be right??? Can it?? *Edit: before anyone says it, I know this is not what poker is about. Trust me I don't wanna play this forever but I'm trying to work out a schedule for when I can move up to 10nl again. Thanks, Al |

| TBH if you're playing below 10NL and planning on moving up you shouldn't need to play enough hands for rakeback to supplement your roll a lot If you play at FTP you can't work it out like this as they use weight contributed RB, so how much you get back depends on how much you put in |

Also, FT now uses weighted contributed MGR for their rakeback computation, so if you don't actually play pots, you won't get any rakeback either. And in general if you play somewhat tight as you should, your weighted contributed MGR will be significantly lower than what your computation suggests. |

| Are you sure they use weighted contribution? I thought they changed it recently so it's just divided equally amongst everyone who was in the hand. When that take2 promo was on I was folding every hand and still getting rakeback... |
