| My Full Tilt account suspended for 1 month, is it normal? Hi, I play on full tilt since march 2010. my nick : p82s I had no problem with deposits and withdraw since the 18th may where i received this mail : "Hello, Your Full Tilt Poker account has been temporarily suspended pending verification of your identity. Please send scanned, clear copies of the following documents to security@fulltiltpoker.com: 1) Photo ID: One of the following: valid driver's license, passport, or other government-issued ID that clearly shows your birth date and the date of issue or expiry. 2) Proof of Address: One of the following: bank or credit card statement, utility bill, cell phone bill, home or auto insurance papers. ... Thank you for your cooperation. Regards, XXX Security Full Tilt Poker " So in the same day, I sent them a scanned copy of my ID and my phone bill. Until today, one month later, they didn't even answer me. I wrote to them several times to ask some news but it seems that they are too busy... And my account is still suspended for "id verification" : I can't play and I can't cash out the money (5,600$) I'm really desapointed by this room. | re: My Full Tilt account suspended since 1 month, is it normal? poker never had this problem so i couldent really tell ya alot, other than just keep on to them and they should reply within a day or 2 all depends, they usaly reply within like 3/4 hours thats the longest i have waited, so this seems very strange to me |

| Yikes, that is a good amount of money, what stakes do you play!? None of my business. lol If they sent you an email with a case number (and even if they didn't) send them an email every day. If you have not, it's likely slid down the list, and they no longer see it. Send them something every day. In the subject, say '3rd request', '4th request', '5th request' etc. And yes, please keep us informed of any update. This is not normal for them. I am not sure the average of how long it takes for them to verify it, and it may depend on what set off the red flag. Did you aquire that amount in a very short period of time? Did you deposit maybe using someone else's debit or credit card? Do you regularly play the same games with the same person or persons? It could be many things they are looking into. As suggested above I would send a polite email everyday. Also when sending the email I am not positive on this but you may need to send it to security@fulltilt.com instead of support@fulltilt.com. |

| Hate to tell you but this doesn't look good. When FT takes this long to respond that means they are doing some serious security checks on you. To hit the top 10 leaderboard for your buy in level basicly as soon as you got on the site is sending them some red flags. If you are sure that you didnt do anything wrong then you will just have to wait it out. But are you SURE you didn't do something wrong? Maybe even by mistake like have some sort of forbidden software open or anything? |

You win monies playing $22 to $109 SNG's. I smell collusion. They probably do too. I hope that you are not guilty of anything and that it gets cleared up. I suspect otherwise though. |

| here is the mail i sent them today : "Full Tilt Poker - Security (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) : 9th request Hi, You suspended my account since 18th May (more than one month) for ID verification. I don't know what's the matter with it. If you suspect me of colluding of something like that : you are totally FALSE. You just have to check my games. You can also see that someday I lost a lot. You could at least answer me. Best regards, Pascal. " Since they blocked my account : no answer, no explanation about why my account and my money are suspended. I suspect them to do that only because i'm french. You have to know that since once month, online poker is strictly forbidden on rooms that have no licence. french governement gave 11 licences this week. Full tilt didn't ask it and after what i read, they won't. Now most of rooms that haven't the french license refuse french player. So I suspect FTP to close my account and keep my money because of french laws. I know you'll tell me "6K is nothing for them, they dont care". But I do care, it's a lots for me. I played more than one month to get it. I just feel like someone that has been stolen by a "Poker room" that suspended my account and my money for id verification. I sent them what they wanted (scanned id, bill phone) and my account is still blocked since 18th May. HELP! |

| Maybe you saw this??? French players banned from pokerstars.com Still, they should be more forthcoming with what the problem is. Yeah, Poker Stars is a different site, but not sure if they are both out of the same place (Isle of Man). Anyone know?
