My First Live MTT 6Max $120 Tonight

Hi guys,

The Grand Sierra here in Reno is hosting a series of MTTs over the next 2 weks.

Im playing in my first live 6Max tonight.

Its #5 on the sheet of 52 Tournaments.

As of this post there are 124 players registered.

Im posting to see if you guys/gals have any words of wisdom concerning 6Max live as opposed to standard tournament play.

Im also going to challenge myself by allowing you all to keep me honest during the tournament itself. I will make myself post a photo of my chip stack at every level (provided they will allow the periodic photo). If not I will take a photo at each break.

Knowing you guys will be judging my progress will help to keep the inner donk away from the Patrone and his propensity for just having a great frickin time.

I actually feel very good about this one.

Last weeks WPT series was a disappointment. I ended up 1.6K up for the series but never made into the ME which was my goal.

Gl Cam, as for Tips just keep calm, don't think about the money as you'll play Scared, and Enjoy yourself

Had a nice nap today so Im ready to run deep.
Final table should form around sunrise.

Sorry for the delay in posting guys.

I didn't get home till just after 4AM and we attended a Celtic festival at 9AM Saturday morning then I hit the sheets early.

They were not allowing photos from the tables so I only got the one.

Basically I did ok, I placed 4th for just under $1800.

We started off with 5K in chips. The photo was at the first break where I had just under 14K.

When the MTT was over I played a few of these $45 S&Gs they were running.
10 Players, one winner of $300 in tournament dollars and $80 in cash. I won 2 games and lost a third, so quit for the night.

All in all was a great evening and man did I have a blast.

I will be using my $600 in tournament dollars later in the week. Ill keep an update here for any interested.
