my first internet final table

i made my first online final table on pokerchamps tonight.....took 9th, i shuda done better, but i only had about 75k, the blinds were 15/30k, a 10 diamonds, i went all-in, got called by a9, needless to say, he got a 9 on the river.

but, i guess my first final table is a victory in itself.only a dollar, bu i had to share my joy with the site. btw, if any of you are interested, pokerchamps is a pretty easy site to beat up on. have freerolls on the hours, pretty fun.well, im gonna get in another tourney somewhere.

Congratulations on your first final table, I play there occasionally myself, I sort of like the place but I don't ( if you know what I mean ).
Hope you get a lot more final tables in the near future man, and for more money too, good luck

Congratulations! I recently was at the final table at Pokerhost.com's $100 freeroll and I was short stacked through most of the tournament. I ended up the first one gone from the table but I did win $3. It's been a while.

ty, since then, ive been thinking about my moves more, and i got 24,28, 84, just finished one in 74, and about ten in the top 200..........does the site just tell us about a week in advance when they are gonna have a freeroll?

Getting to the final table is great, I love it. Its a great achievement. I ALWAYS make the final table in SnG's (wonder why!)lol

Here's a little tip for you guys that I find works for me....If you havent made the final table in a while, go and watch a tourney that is at the final table stages...it really gives you an incentive to wanna get there again

The first final table is always the greatest one, no matter where you place. I think my first final table (in a big freeroll tournament, not 3 or 4 table sng's) I went out 7th with $20 after 5 hours of play. ANd I'll tell you, I was so proud.

I hope you start to finish on that final table more often. It's a really great feeling. And you can win some money!

well, i managed to get down in there again last night, i was chip leader for a little bit, but had trips, went all-in, got called, and out-drew for 80% of my chips, and it went to shit from there... managed to get a 7th tho

Hi - A question - with trips why call all in? Did the board show a possible straight or flush or full house. All-in is a crap shoot - why not just call or check? This way you see card for card and wouldn't have lost as many chips. I don't know the full hand so I may be off base.

It is definitely a great feeling. My first final table I camein 2nd. It was an 800 person at Planet Poker. I think it went all of 6 hours and I made $12. LOL.

But, I was ecstatic about it for days.

I just made myfinal; table as well. the rush is exhilerating!
needless to say i was the first to leave the table
i call an all in with AAAKK, i though i had it.
the bugger who beat me had the other 2 Kings.
but hey never mind i'll fight my way back there again.

Congrats! It sure is a nice feeling, aint it? I remember my first final table and it sure was thrilling. Just wait for your first victory. Hoping for you it will come soon.
