I just wanted to share my opinion about one thing I hate about online poker. Whether it be depositing or withdrawing, it is often such a challenge to have a quick transfer of money. Inflexibility is incredibly annoying. The new poker affiliate in Nevada (the legal US poker site) known as "ultimate poker" has an option where you can go to a brick and mortar cage and deposit/withdraw. How awesome is that? Just the idea of being able to easily access your bankroll is really cool in my opinion, and it can help you manage your money better. I hope some day we have legal poker everywhere in the United States and the brick and mortar cage is an option -if it is that is CERTAINLY how I will be depositing and withdrawing. What do you guys think about that concept? Any people here actually from Vegas and tried utilizing this yet? Ultimate Poker seems to have pretty cool software as well - really basic but they give you the option to have cool icons like partypoker.
But i'm going to be with bovada indefinitely

Note that online poker is now legal in New Jersey and Nevada, so at the very least we are moving in the right direction. If online poker is ever totally legal do you think new American sites like "ultimatepoker" will appear and be the big players, or do you think overseas companies like FTP, PP, stars, 888, etc. will have a grip on the US market.

Any opinions?

Shortly after Black Friday I proposed that all B&M casino's should love the idea of Online Players coming to their establishments to both deposit and withdraw. I went so far as to suggest the States should mandate it. Solves many problems, like ID verification. Surprisingly, my idea got the general thumbs down from most of my colleagues. As usual tho, I figured I am ahead of the collective thought process.;)

Not to mention that getting those online players in the door at a live poker establishment will more than likely get them playing live.

Certainly looks like a Win/Win situation to me.

Karzoi: I did not know about being able to go to the B&M and get your money from the online side. Oh wait, I live in CO, a bassackwards gaming state. I have to drive over 2 hours INTO the mountains to play live poker. If I lived on the west side of town this would be ok.

On your question about new sites, I would like to see if new sites could compete with the big ones. Prior to Black Friday, I was killing it on FTP. A bit tougher on PS. And after UIGEA, we lost Party and most of the rest. But there were some great skins. I think this will come down to if we can get federal regulations vs. state by state. We can get any kind of burger we want but not poker sites. I liked the big sites, for games and interfaces. I don't like anonymous sites like Bovada, but to each their own.

Let's get as many in, new and established sites, to give us the consumer a choice.

Your mileage may vary. Offer void where prohibited by good taste. Don't forget to tip your servers, they take good care of you, please take good care of them. And try the veal.
