My Adventure at Bodog

I recently downloaded Bodog so I figured I would give their freerolls a shot. This one, $1500 guaranteed with rebuys! 3,406 players registered. Top 99 places pay. After 5 hours, I placed 13th and netted me $11.85. Not Bad...I didn't even rebuy!

nj. . .Is it a free roll with points rebuy or do you need points to enter? .....Ah ic . . they automatically give you 50pts when you signup....its too bad I still can't log in through my connection.

I like their new design and classy lookin website except for the fact that Jamie Gold's smug ass grin is plastered all over the place. lol

I rather like the tourneys at Bodog. The blinds rise fairly slowly, which favours TAG players. The downside is that they do tend to take a long time.

Hey All,
I wish I could play on Bodog but apparently they don't allow Canadian players (we must be good or something) <insert snickering>. Anyone know when they might allow us canucks to play?

Afraid they can`t, m8. They are licensed in Canada and the terms of their license forbid them to accept domestic players.

I wish Bodog would move their licensing to Ireland then or something so we could play! Do they have a sportsbook integrated with their poker site? I would love that...

Here's MY adventure at Bodog - all in hour and a half.

JJ beaten by 99

A8 beaten by A6

AK beaten by A 10 (all in POST flop after A flopped, 10 on river).

AA beaten by 33

A9 beaten by AJ (all in post flop after 9 flopped - J arrived on river).

I haven't won a hand worth anything yet, but i'm taking my money out while i've still got some.

Yes Bodog has a Sports Book and other Casino type games. I stay away from that area of the site, but just today i finished in 20th in a MTT(sorry forgot the screen shot) on the bubble 2 places from payouts.

I kind of like Bodog, the game looks very clean. Its very easy on the eyes. The players are pretty easy to beat too, at least thats whats Ive seen at a couple of freerolls.
