I just won $79.50 at a 2/4 table at Titan with my 1st Royal Flush ever! Made my day

Still havent had one yet but I am sure it only a matter of time. Had a few straight flushes, 10 high I think is highest so far.

Been 1 card away on numerous occasions but I am sure we all have.......

i lost a shed load of my chips in SnG on pokerstars last night drawing for a spades royal

had J Q, 10 K came on flop, had to call turn + river, but nahhhh

It was Clubs. I had the Kc 10c. Got the A on the flop, and the Q on the turn. There was already a J on the flop so I had a straight by the turn. Then the river brought my Jc for the royal. As it turns out I also won $33 and some change as a top hand of the day bonus. Its a hundred bucks a day at Titan and I guess there was 2 others with a royal that day so they split it up. only saw one or two in the last six months, but i've seen almost a half dozen at pokerstars in the last week. never had one myself. q high straight flush my best.

I've only seen one on line--- I did get one once playing at home for the fun of it!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A WASTE!! isnt it like 1 in every 10,000 hands or something??!! and I'm playing for fun!!! One of these days!!

Hehehe... I had something similar to that! I was teaching someone how to play poker and what the different hands are. I started dealing out hands face up to show how hold'em works and dealt myself a straight flush (to the 7, but any straight flush will win you money... cmon!) on like the 2nd hand... She was like is that good? I'm thinking... what a waste... and hell ya!

Nice, getting paid too. I had 2 royal flushes in One tournament not even a hour apart and did not make a dime LoL but It did fell good to win the hand. What the odds of getting two royals.

Always nice to get a Royal Flush since they're so rare. Getting paid on it is even harder, though, so that's a really nice win - I'm figuring that there must have been a pair on the table as well to get players with full houses capping the betting?
Generally I reckon a Straight Flush is more likely to pay out well because someone else may well have the Ace-High flush and think they have the nuts without realising the rare SF has them beat... so congrats on getting a good payout from the RF.

ive had one royal in a tourney with a group of friends once and i knocked 4 ppl out with that hand because everyone had great hands....it was a classic moment my buddies and i still talk about
