MTT SITE....WHICH ONE?

OK so no matter what I'll always play at Pokerstars and Fulltilt as far as mtts go, but I feel like putting a new BR somewhere else. So my question is, where do I go? What I'm trying to say is, where is a good low traffic site to go to where I can really kill the competition, basically making it easy.

You can vote on this but also leave a post on your thoughts

Carbon PokerCarbon Poker operates on the relatively new Merge network. This is a great site for freerolls. Get a bonus of 300% upto $600 using Carbon Poker coupon code CCHAT600.

UltimateBetUltimateBet are one of the older sites on the internet with a great range of games to play and a $1100 bonus using the Ultimate Bet referral code CCUB.

I have tried them all for MTT's and none of them are any good. They don't offer many at all.

If I was forced to choose I would take Ultimatebet. Carbon and Cake would be the worst 2.

I voted bodog.
There is low traffic, you can get to know the regs rather quickly and the cash tables and tournaments have soft players.
The only downside is the tournaments fill really slow.

My second choice would be Ultimatebet as well.

Oh and you got cake on there but no bastard which makes this poll illegitimate.

My first choice would be UltimateBet and my second choice would be Bodog. But to be honest I don't like any of the sites you have listed, at least not for their MTTs.

Get a proxy and play on a euro site .

But honestly with options given id try Carbon or Cake.
Absolute Poker/Ultimatebet are probably the "best" sites there but i cant vote for them because of all that superuser, phantom pots stuff.
Bodogs software sucks imo,its hard to multitable and isnt compatible with any tracking software(unless thats changed recently).
So yeah i voted for cake but id try either carbon or cake...

If you like 1k grtd mtts with 75 to 125 people in them then carbon is the site. That way you can play an mtt for decent payouts and finish in 2-3 hours.

re: MTT SITE....WHICH ONE? poker

IMHO Cake network has the weakest players which in turn seems to lead to bigger suckouts.

I just started on Everest Can Americans play there?

Your poll choices are very limited. For those not restricted by American regulations, the Ipoker and Ongame networks would surely rank way higher than any site in your list.

I voted Ultimatebet, but I prolly wouldn't play there. Not with all the issues they have had in the past. Cake and some of the others don't have the near amount of tourneys that Stars and Full Tilt have

Do any of these sites get any overlay on some mtt's anymore?

Anyother big incentives to play on these sites? Leaderboards? Nice satilittes? Just thought these questions may help KC decide.

Curtis is in the US so it would be kind of pointless to include those sites.

Obviously, and I fully understand why KC chose the ones he did.

However, the online poker world is a lot bigger than the section still open to US residents. It was worth pointing out, I think, for the benefit of international members, that the options run wider.

I'm surprised none of the non US players recommend Party, which was my fave at one time. Have they sunk that low?

Ultimatebet and Absolute are essentially the same place, and I'm surprised that they haven't blundered on the perfect name for the place AU =Absolute/UltimateBet = the symbol for Gold. And as we all know the importance of gold is.........uh, important?

The gripes about Carbon are valid and it pisses me off. I have no money at Cake and don't think it's where I would want to put any.

Threats from Bodog about site improvements have been like threats from granny about cutting your legs off.......

So the only spot amongst your choices is Ultimatebet. They do have a wide selection of games that fill well.

dj11, you need to go into marketing. Very creative with the AU. You should contact them with your suggestion. Maybe they'll give a little bonus.

re: MTT SITE....WHICH ONE? poker

I chose Bodog because I've heard it's easier to win there. Ultimatebet is a donk-fest to me...but I still play there occasionally. I haven't played at Cake yet. Personally, I prefer Stars or FT...but they weren't up for a vote!
