Moving from FTP? Rakeback/Suggestions

Okay, so I'm a micro stakes player, and I win a decent amount, but I am looking at the rakeback I pay and I hate it! All of my funds are currently on FTP, and I am considering moving them to a site where I could start fresh and be considered for rakeback. Not to mention the possibility of even softer competition.

Ah, I have also put my name on the list to be considered for rakeback a while ago, but haven't heard anything. I assume the limited amount I play and the small stakes I grind do anything to help my situation.

So first off, I'm in the US.
I use pokertracker and a HUD.
I already have signed up for these sites: FTP, PokerStars (can't get RB anyway), UltimateBet, and Bodog.

So now that I have totally dwindled the list, are there any viable options left for me?

UltimateBetUltimateBet are one of the older sites on the internet with a great range of games to play and a $1100 bonus using the Ultimate Bet referral code CCUB.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker is the online poker site the pro's play at. US players are welcome - use Full Tilt Poker referral code CC600 for a $600 bonus.

I got my rakeback to my account on FTP in about 1 week after I requested it (Iv noticed that ppl playing US won't get em (or have to wait long times) but ppl in Europe will get em easily)
I think that you should move your money into your PS account. If you spend time to get your ranking better than bronze star its definitely rewarding.

I recommend staying away from PokerStars as they have no rakeback and the lower stakes rewards (silverstar and goldstar) are not very rewarding. And if you're a micro player, you probably won't get past silverstar.

I started playing on UltimateBet because not only are rakeback programs available for it, but CardsChat has some nice weekly games there. Also, the OFC games are there about once a month, which are a blast to play. (I love money-added tournaments)

Okay, I'm assuming I wasn't clear, or that there are no other options out there for me.

Oh and JustRaiseTheBlinds, that is one of the worst generic responses I have ever seen.

Anyway.

Already have funds on FTP and want to transfer them off since being on the wait list for rakeback isn't working so far. PS's does not have rakeback and I DO NOT PLAY A LOT OF VOLUME.

Okay, then Bodog... don't even know if they give rakeback, but I already have signed up for the site a long time ago.

Ultimate Bet, I have signed up, but never deposited money or had actual money on there. I know the site (in my opinion) is absolutely hideous, but am wondering if they'd allow me to add rakeback if I sent them an email...I figure any business they could get is more than I'm giving them now... hmmm, Savage could you PM me who you signed up through?

So other than those 4 sites listed above, does anyone know of anything, or am I SOL?

You can only find the answer by contacting the site. With Ultimatebet it will probably get down to how you downloaded the site.

There really aren't any other great sites for US players. You could try Cake.

I think you can sign up to absolute if Ultimatebet doesn't give you rakeback. You can also take a look at cake poker network and merge network.

Sorry if this sounds incredibly stupid, but if I already have an account on Full Tilt, I can't get any rakeback can I? I'm from the UK, but have never fully understood how I can achieve rakeback without un-installing FT and then re-installing and getting a new account.

Anyone feel like enlightening me on where i'm going wrong?

You have to contact Full Tilt and ask them.

Do they often do anything about it, or will I just be ignored?

Haha, similar boat here!!! Well actually they said they would put me on a "wait list."

So yeah I sent an email to FullTilt threatening them that I would move all of my funds to Cake Poker if they couldn't get me on rakeback. I told them that even though I loved their site, it wasn't worth losing money over. I'm also considering just signing up through Absolute or contacting Ultimate Bet since I have not deposited money.

2 more questions...Does anyone have a quick yes or no answer as to whether PT3's HUD works on Cake? For some reason I thought I heard about it not working...

And second question... for soft competition at the micro stakes is the pick Cake or Absolute?

No problem! Honestly I don't expect much of a response since I play the micros. But times are tough for everyone, so this seems like a good time to do it, not to mention Cake's got a decent 1st deposit bonus, and I'm always one to welcome some extra money!

I got the "waiting list" response as well. It's just a way to stop the complaints IMO. Sort of a "Don't call us, we'll call you."

PT3 does not support Cake.
But I don't think HEM does either.

I know Absolute has PT3 support, and rakeback affiliates.

As for Cake fish vs Absolute fish, Absolute has is on the same Network as UltimateBet, so you should have an idea about them. I've never played Cake (saving that as an option down the line), so I don't know what they're like.

Try Absolute Poker. If you already have a Ultimatebet account just start a new one on Absolute Poker. Same tables and you can sign up for rakeback on your Absolute Poker account.
