| Money transfer; why not deposit? DM's question thread about why so many people want out of FT led me to wonder, why do so many people want to transfer instead of making a deposit? I've thought about transferring; it's much faster and easier and maybe even cheaper (as a requester I would offer to pay the transferee a little extra for their help). And as a Canadian I've lost my ability to use my Neteller account for poker so I'd have to start new. But most sites offer deposit bonuses, especially for first time depositors. Doesn't it make more sense to make the deposit so you can collect the bonus? I guess if you're just planning to play casually at the new site and don't think you're going to make the bonus it makes sense, but otherwise 100% bonus on even just $50 is going to more than cover you transfer costs? |
