money stolen Hello dear members. I want to tell story that happened with me yesterday at 888 poker site. Yesterday, i registered an account at 888 . com for playing poker. I puted there my name, and made deposit(260$) from my moneybookers account, which has Verified status and opened for my name. Today i received email from support, they asked me to send them documents. I sent it. After this, they replied and told me that my account is permanently blocked and they wont refund me my money!! What is going on?

re: money stolen poker We don't hear much about 888 here, so we will be limited in how we might help you. You need to keep calm, and detail everything. Get info from Moneyboookers, showing they sent the money, and keep printed copies of your initial deposit at 888. You are entitled to know what the heck is going on. But if you get unreasonably demanding or abusive, they will shut down on being receptive to helping you, and them figure out what happened. If Moneybookers sent the money, they should be able to help you show that 888 received it. That would be great evidence to have. Do not demand it until you have asked for help politely...several times. Google Moneybookers. Seems there is a moneybookers poker site, and another moneybookers e-wallet, and since it is your money involved I suggest you understand the differences.

temu, you have to paste the emails to be taken seriously, there are 100's and 100's of these posts, I can't remember many that have turned out to be genuine. |

ok, if you want see email, here the screenshot of their last reply Send big files the easy way. Files too large for email attachments? No problem! I have reported moneybookers, but still no answer from.. Pacificpoker phone support told me that they cant help me and i need to write a letter to their email.. After i posted this thread at their forum, mod told me that there some mismatch in my details and documents. But this is impossible, cause i just scan my docs, and i use it in many poker rooms before and never had a problem. My moneybookers is opened for the my name too, and have verified adress. Where can i open an oficial dispute? Last edited by temu013 : 7th March 2008 at 7:28 AM.

re: money stolen poker Question, you arnt under 18 or w/e are you? Just a longshot, but i figured either some of your account info didnt match up, or you are an underage gambler and they locked you out. Im just drawing here though.

Even if they locked you out of the site, they still have to give you your money back unless you have (for example) won money there by cheating, or colluding with someone else. These problems usually occur from my experience when you don't supply all the ID that they want, or don't provide it quickly enough. Once they have satisfactory ID they would usually unlock the account. This has happened to me a few times with bookmakers.

Guys, I can lend some credence to what the OP is saying. I deposited $100 on pacific and quickly built it up to $400 and cashed out $200. During the three-day "grace period" I managed to lose the $200 still in my site account but resisted the temptation to reverse my withdrawal. After a week of no action on my withdrawal I contacted live support at Pacific and they told me my cashout was "on hold" for three weeks while they "receive my deposit from my financial institution." So I waited patiently for three weeks and then was told my deposit was fraudulent, which isn't true, and my account was being closed and my withdrawal seized. Since Pacific is located in a lawless island jurisdiction I decided against pursuing legal action. I also kept quiet about it because I was new to Cardschat and didn't want to be immediately classified as a whining troll. But based on the evidence it seems that Pacific is a bad apple in the poker world and I would *try* get my money out of there pronto if I were you.

re: money stolen poker If it's true, various people will appear to back you up - it's one of the advantages of Google... having said that, we do regularly have people here whining about sites which the rest of us are able to use without any problems at all... at the moment we have two people who say that Pacific Poker is corrupt.
