Minted Poker - Building a bankroll Yo! ^^ As I've said in an earlier thread, I've started to play on Minted Poker. Still a small site, but it is very good to build a bankroll from nothing, even though it only has 2x $25 freerolls a day. I had build my bankroll up to $0.3 yesterday and I played some double or nothing sng's with a buy-in for $0.10+$0.01 - 6 handed. Very easy to cash in those I think. I now got $1.05 and I didn't play one of those DoN's without hitting the money. Very good statistics if you ask me For all of you low limit players here, play at Minted Poker! Very easy cash! NOTE!! Don't you dare register too many from this forum. It'll increase the competition a lot, and will remove the opportunity to make easy cash

I just wanted to say something in addition to this. I have now played 2 tournaments (MTT) with a buy-in of $1.10 and above. The first one I finished 2nd, which I think is pretty good. In my 2nd one, I finished 14th. Top 15 paid, so I barely made it to the paid places. But I did it, so I have a cash ratio of 100% in buy-in tournaments on this site! I hope to keep up this play and soon I'll have a good bankroll. I started out with $0, and I got more than $11 now. I'm hoping to win a bigger tournament soon Regards!

This is awesome if you like to grind the super micros. They even have a one cent buy in rebuy tournament, lol. Hard for me to takes it seriously try and take first beating almost 100 players plus rebuys for 75 cents, lol. I played the Step 5 cashes Steps promo for $23 bucks, and I kind of tilted it to 42 buying in for max in omaha ring games. AAXX held, lol. It's super hard to grind late night since there aren't many players on. They have some races also, but to place, you gotta make this your life. Treat it like a full time job, and don't think you can place in the races, lol. It's gotta be your life. It is nice building a bankroll here from nothing though, and it's easy, but if you dream of big money, it's super hard. Usually, what I do is grind in the super micros because they are soft, and when you got a few bucks, try my luck in a big MTT during the day. Even like a $3-5 MTT is great, and the payouts are nicer than merge in my opinion.

I play on sportsbook and have since FTP got raped or whatever. Now knowing what I know I like Minted. I love doing the freerolls and am SLOWLY building my own bankroll. Only question I have is what kind of charges do they tack on for withdrawing. I know sporstbook give you the stiff one at 40 bucks a month to take anything out.

re: Minted Poker - Building a bankroll Rakeback for Minted isn't hard to find. I'm not going to name any sites because I don't want to advertise on here. I personally would never use a HUD, so I can't answer that and hope the answer would be no. They have lots and lots of freerolls every day. 2 different kinds. 1) MTTs, which have ridiculous registration start times and late registrations, so lots of "players", lots of sitouts and diluted payouts, which weren't much in the first place. You can also look for affiliates that offer freerolls. Again, not going to advertise specifically, but it's the same as any Everleaf skin... you can't join those freerolls unless you joined through that affiliate. You can't even see those freerolls usually. So sign up through some affiliate for the possible private games and the big time rakeback. 2) Freeroll Step SNGs. These are highly lucrative as a freeroll. If you make it to Step 6, you're guaranteed some money. They're also super annoying because they almost never fill past Step 3. The traffic just isn't there yet. But don't make it worse on yourself and hoard your Step 2s and 3s... just use them when you get them. The games don't fill up often enough for you to be wasting your time in Step 1s and 2s and miss out on your chance to push through to later Steps. If you have Step 2s, the only reason to sign up for Step 1s is to donk off your chips fast and early so other players can move up and join you in later steps. I really can't recommend Minted Poker. I feel about it the same way as other Everleaf skins I've played on. I'm not a big fan of the look and noises, especially on start up. The structures are ridiculously fast... which usually is fine since I like turbos, but it gets tiresome knowing you're going to end up with 16-17 bbs when the blinds get to 50-100 so fast, and it gets worse from there. For a freeroll it's ok, but when you start putting your hard earned money into it... I also don't like the low limit games they offer, and most of their guarantees are rebuys. If anybody knows of good action on there, please give us a holler. The small level of their freerolls means you have to move on to money play at some point to make playing there worthwhile. Mintedpoker.com seems to become the really best room for US players. Their software looks simple-designed but I like it. Personally I play on Intertops.com which is also great place since I'm in US.

Yeah I like the software. Just wish you could use the prepaids to deposit like you can on bodog. Do not really care for dropping a c-note via WU.
