I dont like to say online poker is rigged, but I have been playing on Doyles Room which i on microgaming for the past 4 months, and made a steady profit however, this past few weeks I have started noticing thing which seem a little out of the ordinary. Anyone who plays on Microgaming's Poker Network, please post you experiences of things you see regularly. Here a few things which I see on a regular basis:

1. Two outers hitting on the river, especially if the higher chip stack has the two outs.

2. The flop revealing a pair when two or more players have pocket pairs.

3. JJ and 99 being dealt out in the same hand.

4. AA and KK being dealt out in the same hand.

5. AA and AK being dealt out in the same hand, plus the flop comeing K high.

If anyone notices these please post, as I am a little concerned about the network.

On top of the, on the lobby click menu, then click on Independant Reviews, Doyles Room had it last audit report in December 2007, when was your poker rooms last audit?

Thanks

JamesGodfrey

How long have you been taking notes? Are you making a spread sheet of every hand you play? I would adventure to say you are over looking a lot and only paying attention to a few hands. Correct me if I'm wrong these cards come out on a random number generator???? It would be like saying you are knowing what,s going to hit on a slot machine.

James - you are going to get chewed up and spit out for starting yet another "online poker looks rigged" thread without any proof or data to back it up. :(

I have been considering coming an account at Doyle's room. I'm not going to let this post stop me. You are only taking a very short term view.

Over how many hands is this. Sure those are suspicious.... if they happen all back to back. You can't just sit down and play a session and at the end look at the ONE thing that may have been unlucky (ie overpairs on your pp) Or A King coming out on the flop (which isn't even odd) when someone is holding KA vs someones AA.

It looks like your grasping at straws

Nor should you let this post stop you!

I sincerialy hope this claim is backed up by either:
1,000+ tournaments
or
50,000+ ring hands.

Join any poker site and you'll see the same stuff happen so get used to it or stop playing.

it's always amusing to see people say that online poker is rigged when they get 3 or 4 really bad beats but they never say it whenever they get AA dealt in consecutive hands or dish out sick beat after sick beat. seriously you have to take the good with the bad, these people want to have their cake and eat it too. look at it this way, why will a reputable poker network want to rig hands to get maybe a few million in rake and risk getting caught and losing hundreds of millions when they get sued? it just makes no sense!

maybe all the people that say online poker is rigged should start their own forum where they talk about how it is rigged all the time. then we could all go there and post about our wins and how great it is. kind of like a bizarro cardschat.

Live poker must be rigged too then. I mean how many two outers have I lost in a live casino. Gosh that dealer must be base dealing! How many times have I seen a pair when I hold a pocket pair live? JJ and 99 being in the same hand wow! That is not uncommon at all. I was playing in a live tourney 2 weeks ago and lo and behold both held AA and KK must be rigged. I guess AA vs AK must never happen live. Oh wait happened to me so many times in a live game. You obviously have not played enough poker, live or online. What happens online happens in live games.

I have played 1000's of hours live and online and I can tell its not rigged. Some people say it is action orientated online.(Meaning more good hands dealt) But this is even grasping at straws for several reasons. 1. Ok that could explain why the good hands or playing but why is the 27 suited calling raises? Some people love suited cards live or online. 2. Poker is a situational game so its hard to rig it up because everything changes and people can call, fold, or raise. 3. Bad beats are part of the game and plus someone has to win. If the best hand always won online not many people would play online.

Good players win about 51-56% or somewhere in that range. So that means they lose somewhere between 44-47% somewhere around there. That is what I have seen anyway. Some have higher numbers but I put the average winning player around that range. (Correct me if I am wrong but that is what I've seen from numereous winning players. Including myself.) So that means you are going to have a good number of losing sessions out of 100. I'm not saying that your loses are going to big but that you will have them. If you don't then you are the best or luckiest player in the world.

If you play for long enough you're bound to see a few bad beats- I've lost twice in 20 sngs with AA vs KK, but that doesnt mean its rigged- you can always pick up some anomoly with randomness!

If big hands never ran into each other and bad beats didnt happen, poker would be a very dull game...

I didn't look at all your hands but I analyzed most and if this is how you play it explains a lot. First off this is an easy fold. I don't understand why you raise all in on the river here. I mean if your right you win the pot and nothing more.(Unless he is betting a jack) However there are several problems with moving in on the river. First you did not raise enough preflop. What does that raise accomplish anyway? 2nd you bet too much on the flop which made the pot bigger and your loses more. Once he calls on the flop you figure either he has an ace or a diamond draw. On the river you either figure he is bluffing a busted draw or he has an ace. Reraising all in on the river costs you. You could've saved 1800 or so and still been in the tournament but instead you busted out. Better to fold on the river I think then move in though.
