Me on Pokerstars VS Full Tilt I'm not one to say "oh this sites crap", or "well thats typical of this site" , and i'm sure its just coincidence, however does anyone else find they run better on a particular site and not on another ? I'm finding that on pokerstars i've had the longest losing streak in history, the cards just dont come, the plays just dont work, and my bankroll is in dire need of a transplant... Whereas on Full Tilt my bankroll is prospering because the cards are falling generally better and my plays are working enough of the time to be profitable. Anyone else have stories like this ? Again, i'm not saying its the site, because generally i prefer to play on Stars ...

my opion I agree 100%. I think the reason for this is that on ft you are playing against better players, who are less likely to make a donk call and suck out. If you are making plays, My opion is that you will have more luck on fulltilt. ps. i hate ps

In my experience Full Tilt players are generally tighter than what you'll find at Poker Stars. I went there after bonus whoring on Party and it was like night and day.

there must be very different causes maybe all of them are psychological. i like bodog because i like its software and its red colour. i dont play at fulltilt because chip sounds are terrible and i played there for a month without muting it, now i hate that site. poker software must be very important. if you like a poker site, you play better there. just like women |

I feel the same exact way. I've played on almost every poker site that is known and I seem to never win at pokerstars no matter how good I play. I only played at full tilt once like two years ago and I was bad then, so I'm not sure about full tilt. Playing at bodog has been the most profitable for me, I've cashed out twice equaling well over 2k and has been the only site where I see less suckouts although the donks are still there, I've also seen some bad things happen to me and others but its less then stars. Stars theres a suckout every other hand seems as if the worse hand going in always ends up on top. I've played well over 100k+ hands in online poker and well over 1k hands in live poker to believe suckouts do not happen every other hand. But on pokerstars theres suckouts like no other. Overall I will still continue to play in the pokerstars 250k guarantee to hope one day it will be my turn to take home a good sum of money but other then that I do not see myself playing at pokerstars no longer. Step one in quitting my online poker career. HAHA, Don't we always say were going to quit only to be playing two days later with some excuse like "I've got it now I know why I've been losing its because of A B C, just to be down another 100+ the next week LOL"

i would say that pokerstars has the largest amount of fish, but thats a good thing, ive started a protect the donk campaign at my table when ever someone starts slating them i protect them. lol. fish are the fundemental basis of the poker food chain without them wd all be fooked!

PokerStars had 425k people playin on there last Sunday vs Full Tilts 125k -150k people. There is alot more people playing on that site which may explain some of the bad plays by players that dont know what they are doing. I have also noticed the players on Pokerstars are getting to be more and more foreign. I plated a tourny the other day about 6pm here in TN and i didnt have a single player from the US at my table. As for which i like better i still prefer Pokerstars over Full Tilt. Its just were i started playing and like the software better. However i play almost just as much on Full Tilt as i do PS and the wins and losses are around the same.

I don't think the quality of play is much different at the two sites. Maybe you just feel more comfortable at Full Tilt. Maybe you like the software betrter-the appearance of the table, etc. Sometimes the cycles of winning and losing are long, try a "new attitude" at Stars and see what happens...

I think both sites are pretty much the same, and I pretty much switch back and forth between the two. If/when I hit a bad run on Pokerstars I will be back to playing on Full Tilt and back and forth. As for less suckouts or less donks on Full Tilt than Pokerstars I find that pretty ridiculous, happens on both sites equally I would say. Of course the bigger the site the more donks their will be even if the percentage of donks is exactly the same. But, donks are where you get your money, yes sometimes they are going to suck out but the majority of the time you will take their chips. Not liking Full Tilt because of the chip noise is just funny, I turn off all noises when I first setup a poker site, except the warnings. You really should look through all the options that the poker software gives you before even playing a single game. I still see people complaining about FTs new cards months after the change (new cards when table gets to a certain smaller size), but if they just looked at the options right in the lobby they wouldve fixed this months ago.
