Looking for a 360 Tourney?????
The $.10, 360 player PokerStars turbo tourney is fun to play and fast........ BUT,
it is flooded with players that play loosely and recklessly.......Most fade out pretty quickly but a tight player will likely get 'blinded out' at the turbo speed....... So, my question is: Where, online, is a similar 360 player turbo tourney that has higher entry $$ so that this reckless play might be less often?????? I've tried the 180 player tourney and don't like it as much.... OR, give me some advice on how to beat these loose players......patience does not seem to be the answer...... TIA |

It is generally going to be a crap shoot the whole way through. The thing is, patience is the answer. You should never be running any bluffs until maybe the later stages of the tournaments, when most of the good players are in and the crappy all-in every hand players seemed to have disappeared. As long as you are able to pick up some strong hands then you should be able to double up without much resistance.

I play these often just as an unwind. I must have played like 90 of them and never cashed once until I learned. I'm not a bad player at all. It is just a crazy crap shoot. On one hand you should be playing premiums only early on with all the massive donks around. I can recount several times I got 4 way action with AA and had them cracked. But if you arent willing to put it in the middle with the nuts, you need a new game. Then a new style approached how to destroy these things... LAG. You gotta play hands. And wallop two pair. Raise with 94s and nail two pair and make those Jacks pay. They're so bad at that level, they WILL pay you off. I have like a 8 straight cashing streak in them now though. Once the bad players are gone once you see everyone has about 7-10k chips. Things tighten up and you can do the same LAG (expect to be reraised on bluffs) or you can play premiums and make the shorter stacks pay. Up to you at that point. Basically, raise to take over the hand, if they come over the top, just muck early on. Once you are in middle stages run the tighter players over because really they are on their last dollar or so.
